Out o f t h e 112^ p r o s e c u t i o n s i n s t i t u t e d i n 1963 and 2 1 c a s e s p e n d i n g f r o m t h e p r e v i o u s y e a r 1 1 c o n v i c t i o n s we re r e c o r d e d a n d 1 9 c a s e s we re p e n d i n g a t t h e e n d o f t h e y e a r . I n t h e b a l a n c e of 103 c a s e s i n f o r m a t i o n s we re r e f u s e d o r t h e a c c u s e d were a q u i t t e d .
Dangerous Driving causing serious bodily harm.
( 1 9 ) One hund red and f o r t y p e r s o n s were c h a r g e d w i t h t h i s o f f e n c e , ^ compared w i t h 1 0 4 i n 1 9 6 2 . Out o f t h e 140 p r o s e c u t i o n s i n s t i t u t e d i n 1963 a n d 20 c a s e s p e n d i n g f r o m t h e p r e v i o u s y e a r 9 c o n v i c t i o n s were r e c o r d e d find 23 c a s e s we re p e n d i n g a t t h e e n d of t h e y e a r . I n ^ t h e b a l a n c e of 128 c a s e s i n f o r m a t i o n s were r e f u s e d o r t h e a c c u s e d were a q u i t t e d .

Mien t h e van scooped, two masicod men jumped i n t o i t , overpowered t h e d r i v e r , t i e d him up and drove *che van t o a f a r m y a r d where t h e y were j o i n e d by f i v e accompl ices . ^-bout m i d n i g h t on 24 t ly / 25th J u n e , 1963» a 30 y e a r o l d b u s conductor on h i s way home saw a man and a woman who appeared, t o b e s t r u g g l i n g on t h e q u a y s . He went t o t h e a s s i s t a n c e of t h e woman and was s e t upon b y t h e p a i r who robbed him of c a s h and o t h e r p r o p e r t y t o t h e v a l u e of £ 4 0 .
