THE CORPORATE PICTURE Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc (MTE) is relatively young in the industry (established in 1958) compared to some; however, we have grown the fastest and become one of the largest because of our “HANDS-ON” management style, flexibility, sense of urgency, and willingness to listen and react to our customers. Throughout the past 50+ years, we have evolved into our present day corporation with six locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and Kentucky. This came about largely through perserverance, pride in our work, and service above the industry standard, with a willingness to try new ideas, products, and techniques. We manage a Vehicle Pool for Ford, GM, and Dodge chassis, focusing on: “Custom-Built Vehicles” (built to your specifications on the cab and chassis of your choice). It is because of our innovative style and way of doing business that MTE was selected by General Motors to be the GM Modification Center for Commercial Trucks produced in Flint, Michigan (VCB-Ship Thru Code), allowing for nationwide distribution of GM Commercial Vehicle Upfits. In 2009, MTE established a Ford Ship-Thru Program at our Louisville, KY facility (F250-550 Code 31N D9E; Ranger Code 31N D9P) in addition to a Ford Freight Re-Entry Program on our Flint, MI Pool Vehicles, all allowing for nationwide distribution of Ford Commercial Vehicle Upfits.
