The Liverpool and Manchester RailwayWith the Industrial Revolution we have the world's first railway.
Opened on 15 September 1830, it was 56Km and initially only for goods trains.In 1831 it became a famous railway that allowed people to travel from Liverpool to Manchester.

The first italian railway is the Adriatic Railway. It's 590Km long and was opened between 1863 and 1872.

Milan and Rome Train Stations
Roma Termini is the main railway station of Italy, and the second largest railway station in Europe.
This terminal is composed of 32 tracks
Like Roma Termini, Milano Centrale is the main railway of north Italy.Both stations are important for Italian “high speed” trains.

Frecciarossa and High Speed TrainThe fastest italian train is the Frecciarossa.It's a really important revolution for our country because you can reach Milan from Rome in just 2h & 45m.A new high speed train that will be used for connect Milan and Rome in only 2h will be available from 2015. It will be the fastest train ever produced in Europe with a speed of 400 km/h.

The main transport systems are taxis and buses:
TaxisTaxis are usually helping people moving between the train station, Valerio Catullo Airport and the city centre
Urban buses They cover the areas close to the city center and each stop has a bus every 15 minutes

They cover all the little towns in Verona’s district(50km far) and they reach even small villages in the mountains.
