Programming

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Student Activities calendar of events, including new student orientation activities, the student activities fairs, and a variety of evening and weekend events funded by the Student Activity Fee• Co-advise the Columbia College Activities Board (CCAB) which plans and implements such traditional campus events as Family & Friends Weekend and Ludy Bowl (Homecoming), Mom’s Day, Dad’s Night and Spring Formal• Assist with the management of the student union facilities• Assist with the supervision of the Student Union Night and Weekend Program Coordinator who plans and implements activities in the student union• Serve on the Columbia College Wellness Committee in order to assist in the development of programs addressing the campus wellness issues • Coordinate the recreational and intramurals program • Use a creatively inclined mind to promote the O! ce of Student Activities and its involvement opportunities• Provide budget oversight for any deposits and/or expenses obtained by student organizations that receive funding from the Student Government Association (SGA)

• Plan and implement the new student orientation programs collaboratively with the Orientation Committee• Co-supervise and train of Orientation Leaders• Assist with the development and coordination of training programs for organizational o! cers and advisors• Plan student leadership programs such as the annual Student Leadership Forum (SLF) Retreat, monthly SLF workshops, and the monthly Leadership Lunch Series• Provide leadership and administrative support to student organization o! cers and advisors in event planning, " scal processes, and group dynamics• Provide budget oversight for any deposits and/or expenses obtained by student organizations that receive funding from the Student Government Association (SGA)• Serve as a member of the SGA Allocations Committee • Serve as a member of the Columbia College Campus Life Committee, which oversees the student organization approval process and develops guidelines for organizational standing• Assist the Junior Class o! cers in coordinating the Big Sister Littler Sister program
