“Servante” caratterizzata dalle superfici intarsiate in legno di acero e radica di noce persiana, con eleganti e scultoree volute in legno intagliato secondo lo stile francese di fine 700.Le antine pannellate a specchio diamantato e anticato trasmettono lucentezza e valore.

“Server” with the surfaces inlayed with maple and Persian walnut briar, with elegant sculptured carved wood volutes typical of late 1700 French style. The diamond antique finish mirror panel doors give light and value to the piece.

The moulded plinth base holds up the solid oak unit and the olive finished ash briar drawer fronts create a harmonious offset to the strictly vertical pillars.

Oak desk complete with pedestral and practical filing drawer. There are four other drawers, two with locks, along the edge of the top, partly covered with leather.

La base a plinto modanato sorregge il mobile in massello di rovere. Le cassettiere rivestite in radica di frassino olivato fanno da armonioso contrappunto alla verticalità delle lesene.

Scrittoio in legno di rovere completato da un contenitore a cassetti e da un funzionale schedario. Altri quattro cassetti, due dei quali con chiave, sul perimetro del piano parzialmente rivestito in pelle.

L’elegante testiera imbottita in tessuto a capitonnè, ha il profilo in legno di noce ingentilito con intagli floreali. Il giroletto ha il bordo superiore rivestito in pelle e i quattro piedi intagliati “en cabriole“.

I frontali, i fianchi e il piano sono lastronati con tessere policrome in acero, olivo, palissandro, noce, ebano. I sostegni in faggio, interamente rivestiti in palissandro, ne tratteggiano discretamente i morbidi contorni.

An elegant sideboard inspired by the opulent 1700 Piedmont styles. The front sides and top are inlayed with multicoloured blocks of maple, olive, rosewood, walnut and ebony.The beech supports are entirely covered in rosewood and delicately trace out the gentle profile.

The elegant padded headboard with capitonnè fabric has a walnut profile softened by floral carving. The top edge of the bed surround is covered with leather and the four feet have “en cabriole“ carving.

I mobili d’arte di Faber Mobili sono il risultato di una profonda conoscenza delle lavorazioni del legno nel rispetto dei valori artigianali e dei canoni formali di costruzione. Un mobile costruito a regola d’arte nasconde molteplici processi lavorativi, a volte molto complessi, e dietro ad ognuno di essi c’è sempre un uomo. Selezionare i materiali, lavorare il legno massiccio in maniera tale da poter prevedere e correggere i suoi movimenti, scegliere le cornici più adatte, determinare già dal progetto le tecniche di costruzione, gli incastri, gli spessori… tutto questo non basta. Costruire un bel mobile non è tutto. E’ la sua lucidatura che gli darà la vita, che potrà mettere in risalto la venature del legno e proteggerlo nel tempo. La lucidatura è una fase del lavoro decisiva per la resa estetica di un mobile d’arte. Faber Mobili impiega un ciclo di quindici fasi di lavorazione per rifinire i propri mobili, secondo procedimenti tradizionali e con prodotti di prima qualità. La finitura, nel pieno rispetto del legno, si realizza impiegando tinte a base di acqua e terre naturali ecologiche e atossiche. La lucidatura prevede l’uso di vernice nitrolacca a poro aperto che contiene scaglie di gommalacca in grado di conferire al mobile una particolare brillantezza e di esaltare le venature del legno.Il trattamento finale del processo di finitura consiste in un ulteriore passaggio “a stoppino” e gommalacca.

Faber Mobili art furniture are the result of a profound knowledge of woodworking in respect of the values of craft and formal canons of construction. A piece of furniture that has been made with due care involves numerous processes, often quite complex, and behind each one is a person. Selecting the materials, processing solid wood in a manner to foresee and correct any movements, choosing the right frames, deciding the technical construction details during project phases, the joints, the thickness - but that is not all. To build an attractive piece of furniture is not enough.It is the polish that brings it to life, highlighting the natural graining and protecting the wood. Polishing is of fundamental importance for the final appearance of artistic furniture. Faber Mobili has a polishing process which inolves fifteen different phases to finish the furniture, using traditional methods and only top quality products.The finish has to respect the wood and they use natural non-toxic and ecological water or earth stains. For polishing they use an open cell nitro lacquer varnish, that contains shellac flakes which give an excellent gloss to the furniture and exalts the natural grain of the wood. The final passage in the treatment is “slivered” shellac.
