The barcode mode is a safer and more efficient method for programming a therapy.

The pharmacy prepares medication with the barcode label according to doctors prescription and sends it to the ward.

The only things you need are• a bluetooth module integrated into

the pump• a bluetooth capable barcode scanner• activation of the barcode functionality

in the configuration.

Connecting the pump to the barcode scanner is very simple.

By one single scan of the barcode on the pump display, the barcode scanner and the pump are paired.

If required by the hospital safety standards, the pump can be configured to demand the scan of patient ID (1) and / or staff ID (2). Simply follow the instructions on the pump display and scan the requested barcode with the barcode scanner.

Automatic plausibility check

The pump executes an automatic plausibility check before the single click start - efficient, easy and safe.
