The Council for National Policy - The One World

Christian Organization

Rev. Sun Myung Moon of "The Moonies" Unification Church, sponsored

the fo unding o f the o rganization Council fo r National Policy (CNP), which

was fo unded in 1981 by T im LaHaye. As yo u may recall, Rev. Moon's

claims include s tating that Christ failed His m ission, and that Moo n himse lf

is the "new messiah" who is come to fulfill the mission of God.

The Co uncil for Natio nal Policy (CNP), is a networking group for social

conservative activists in the U.S. It has been described by the The New

York Times as a "little-known group of a few hundred of the most powerful

conservatives in the country," who meet three times yearly behind closed

doo rs at undisclosed locations for a c onfidential conference. [1]

In these meetings they are said to discuss issues involving: 1) free

enterprise, 2) defense, and 3) traditional western values. The CNP

describes itself as a counterweight against liberal domination of the

American agenda.

Loo king into som e o f the CNP o fficers, we find not only a strong

asso ciation with Moo n, but also po werful ties with the CIA and the Council

on Foreign Relations, not to mention association with high-level

Freemasonry for which many conspiracy researchers have more than a

mere elementary knowledge related to the New World Order. Another past

President of CNP is Rich DeVoss, co-founder of Amway (and 33rd

degree Mason). [2] William Rusher, who was ed itor o f William F. Buckley's

National Review , is a me mbe r. These findings should not be surprising

since the CNP was an extension of the John Birch Society whose early

leadership consisted o f me mbers e ither directly o r indirec tly assoc iated

with the CFR. [3] It should be note d here that the Jo hn Birch Soc iety was

founded by William F. Buckley, who is also a Skull & Bonesman and Knight

of Malta membe r.

Besides CFR and Religious Roundtable members, the upper echelon of

the Council for National Policy were basically refugees from the defunct

Western Goals Foundation, the domestic surveillance outfit of the John

Birch So ciety which included high-ranking me mbe rs o f the f asc ist World

Anti-Com munist Leag ue, Knights o f the So vere ign Military Order o f

Malta, as well as Sun Myung Moo n and Freem aso nry. [4]

So , which Christians have an asso ciation with this co uncil? Mem bers o f

the CNP have included:

Beverly and Lee LaHaye, also asso ciated with Moo ns CWA gro up. Gary

Bauer, Bill Bright, James Dobson (Foc us On The Family), Bo b Dugan,

Ron Godwin, Robert Grant, Rebecca Hagelin, Bob Jones III (Bob Jones

University), Alan Keye s ( Outspo ken ultra-conse rvative black talk show

host and author), Dr. D. Jame s Kennedy (no ted t elevision ev angelist and

Pastor), Peter Marshall, Sam Moore of Thomas Nelson Publishing, Pat

(formerly with the National Security Council), Phyllis Schlafly (ultra-right

Som e of the political leaders involved with the Moo n sponsored CNP

group include Senators Jesse Helms, Don Nickles, and Trent Lott. Also

Represe ntatives Tom DeLay, Dan Burton, Bob Dornan, Former Gov.

Ministries , and Intercesso rs for America.

Basically what we have here is a Christian version of the Co uncil on

Foreign Relations, whose goal it is for world government.

So as you can see , we have a blend of ec umenical fakes. Could this be the

one aspe ct o f the 'falling away' the Church so ofte n preached by these

same evangelicals? The great 'apostasy' will render much of the ChristianChurch faithles s, and subject to the m anipulation by the Antichrist. Is it any

wonder?
