BBMS Clubs & Activities: 2021-2022 ANCIENT & MEDIEVAL BOARD GAMES Mr. Dakers ([email protected]) Mondays, 2:45-3:30 PM / Room M204 Do you know the oldest game known to history? Want to play games invented by the ancient Egyptians and Mesopotamians? How about those from ancient China or even the Vikings? Thousands of years ago, kids like you were watching their friends and calling, “I’ve got the next game!” in their own ancient languages. Come learn about and play some of the oldest known board games ever. You’ll develop and use critical thinking skills, strategy, honor, integrity and...oh yeah, have lots of fun! Reporters, photographers, writers, editors, and producers work together to produce a newscast as well as a publication. With original reporting and up-to-date information, @BlindBrook is committed to getting the story and getting it right. DANCE CLUB Ms. Bhanti ([email protected]) Tuesdays: 2:45-3:30pm Do you want to build confidence, work on stage presence, and express yourself through movement? If so, join the BBMS Dance club! You will not only explore various cultural styles and genres of music, but you will have the opportunity to create moves and work on your own choreography! This will be fun, great exercise, and a chance to meet new friends. We will work on posture, expressions and basic dance technique. You will shine and showcase your talent! All dance levels and grades are welcome! DEBATE TEAM Mr. Lewis ([email protected]) Thursdays, 2:45-3:45 PM / Room H214 Do you enjoy trying to convince a friend of your point of view? Do you like to argue a point? Would you like to learn the skills of persuasion? If so, join the BBMS Debate Team by signing up for our Google Classroom page (class code: 34zmyyx) DESTINATION IMAGINATION Mr. Barnes ([email protected]) Destination Imagination (DI) is a global educational nonprofit dedicated to inspiring the next generation of innovators, leaders and creative problem solvers that is open to all Middle School and High School students. The Destination Imagination Club will be hosting an interest meeting for students on "D" Day (For DI) on Tuesday, October 5th during Activity Period in the Fab Lab for students.
