GOOD PRACTISES
• Identification of 7 problematic stations and channelling resources to these 7 stations resulted in a reduction of crime for the Province
• Deployment a senior officers after hours at Clusters to oversee the service delivery at stations (Rank of Colonel, Brigadier or Major General at bigger Clusters and minimum of a Captain at smaller Clusters, eg. Balfour and Belfast)
• Establishment of TRIO-crime Task Teams in problematic Clusters (Tonga, Acornhoek, Pienaar, Witbank and Nelspruit)
• Bi-weekly visits to Clusters that are not doing well to physically meet with that Station Management
2222
GOOD PRACTISES (Continue)

• Re-introduction of Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Units (FCS) in the 15 clusters
• 50 Women identified and incorporated in the Female Detective Development Programme with the curriculum to address their weaknesses
