HMRC in 2003. From 2009, Dyfed’s led a number of board level roles at the Valuation Office Agency.

Alex Hutter, Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA)Alex has worked in tax for twenty years, formerly specialising in VAT for HMRC. Alex joined the WRA as Senior Land Transaction Specialist in 2018. A major part of his role, and one he greatly enjoys, is educating others on how tax works.

Ian Derrick, Bank of EnglandIan joined the Bank of England in 2000 as Deputy Agent at the Agency for Wales. He returned to the role from a year’s secondment to the economic analysis area of the Office of National Statistics in June 2015. Previously Ian worked for The Royal Bank of Scotland

primarily working in corporate banking and project finance roles in the City of London.
