GUAVA JAM

In the Azores there's a tradition of celebrating your friends. One day is for the boys to go and hang out with their friends, and the same day on the next week is for the girls.I love the concept of a day when you celebrate friendship. So my mother made some guava jam, and she put it in small, cute jars to give to her friends.And then she asked me to make a label for the jam. She wanted something simple, and with a little dedication.

PACKAGING FOR TEA

This was a school project in which we had to create a new packaging for a product that we deal with on a day-to-day basis. The product I chose was tea, and consider-ing its origins, I chose to make an origami box that would hold three different types of tea inside: The box was all hand made using the origami technique, i didn't use any glue or another kind of fixator.

ENVIRONMENTAL CAMPAIGN

This was a school project in which we had to create an environmental campaign, warning people about how their actions can have a positive or negative impact on our planet.I chose to make a campaign about oil spills and about how dangerous they are to the oceans and every creature that comes in contact with it. I created an informative poster, outdoor, mupi, sticker and an umbrella print design.

When oil is spilled or leaked into waterways or the ocean, it spreads very quickly with the help of wind and currents. A single gallon of oil can create an oil slick up to 8000 square meters.When oil starts mixing in water, it can change composition and becomes what's known as "mousse".

This is a sticky substance that clings even more to whatever it comes in contact with.On January 23 1991, 1,5000,000 tones of oil were spilled in the Persian Gulf,making this the biggest oil spill in history.

FARM IDENTITY

This was a school project in which we had to create the identity for an imaginary farm. I chose to make a farm in Siena, Italy. My farm was called "Fattoria di Siena". We also had to create packaging for some of the farm's prod-ucts, and a promotional flyer. The products for which i created labels and packaging were: Wine (Red, White, Rosé, Sparkling wine, and Vintage Red); Spaghetti; Olives; Juice (juice box); Wild Berries.

This is some of my personal work, I love doing free hand illustrating and not really thinking about what’s going to come out in the end. I draw everything using pen , so that when something doesn´t go exactly the way i wanted i force myself to make it work.

This is kind of a "part 2" of my Freehand Illustrations. In this project i transfered my illustrations to both, t-shirts and paper, using the silkscreen technique.These were also used in a school project for my Silkscreen class.
