OVERALL COMMENTS The vehicle is nicely restored and is a VIN code L82. The engine was rebuilt 2,000 miles ago and operates smoothly. The vehicle had the interior redone (seats, panels, carpet). The paint is very good with some imperfections by right wheel and drips peeling in door jambs. The lenses are coded 1975 and are original and faded with some stress cracks. The gaps on the driver’s door to fender and right hood to fender are off alignment and could indicate prior repairs. The frame is solid and is not rusted. The windshield and driver’s glass have been replaced. Total 1979 Corvettes produced was 53,807 with 10,465 being black and 14,516 being L82s. FAIR MARKET VALUE $ 15,500 We have utilized similar vehicles recently sold or in the process of being sold. The subject vehicle is a nice combination of survivor and restoration. The drive train is solid. The body is in very good condition. The first comparable is a high caliber vehicle that did not sell. The second is an automatic and the third is a manual that both sold. The redone interior, body, suspension, brakes and engine adds

additional value. We believe the subject vehicle is above comparable #3’s average rating and the price guide adjusted for the newer drive-train. These items are taken into consideration when creating a value for the vehicle. COMPARABLES Collector Car Market Review Value Report July 2011

CONDITION CLASSES
#1 Excellent: A close to perfect original or a very well restored vehicle. Generally a body-off restoration, but a well done body-on restoration that has been fully detailed may qualify. The vehicle is stunning to look at and any flaws are trivial and not readily apparent. Everything works as new. All equipment is original, NOS, or excellent quality reproductions. Note: This is NOT a 100 point trailered show car.
#2 Very Good: An extremely presentable vehicle showing minimal wear, or a well restored vehicle. Runs and drives smooth and tight. Needs no mechanical or cosmetic work. All areas (chassis not required, but may be) have been fully detailed. Beautiful to look at but clearly below a #1 vehicle.
#3 Good: Presentable inside and out with some signs of wear. Not detailed but very clean. Body should be straight and solid with no apparent rust and absolutely no rust-through anywhere. Shiny, attractive paint but may have evidence of minor fading or checking or other imperfections. Runs and drives well. May need some minor mechanical or cosmetic work but is fully usable and enjoyable as is.

#4 Fair: runs and drives OK but needs work throughout the vehicle. Body shows signs of wear or previous restoration work. Any rust should be minimal and not in any structural areas. Cosmetics, body, and mechanics all need work to some degree.
#5 Poor: In need of complete restoration, but is complete and not a rust bucket beyond repair. May or may not run and drive. Not roadworthy.
# 6 Parts or Salvage: Incomplete vehicle most useful for parts. Generally, take 40-50% of the #5 value.

Certified Methodology of Appraisal
The Appraisal Foundation's Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP)
Customer Values
1. Impartial opinion – I am not associated with a vehicle dealership or automotive restoration
shop that would have an ulterior motive to generate additional business.
2. I do not receive commissions or payments from insurance companies to direct business
toward them.
3. I treat all of my clients and their vehicles with respect and value their opinions and
information.
4. I am very objective in my approach. I appraise all vehicles as if I were to personally
purchase them. I will accentuate the positive aspects while pointing out the negative
ones as well.
5. A detailed informative appraisal report will be forwarded to the customer in a timely
manner usually within 5-7 business days.
6. Above all, I perform the appraisal service with integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
Fair Market Value – Definition
The price that an informed / interested but not desperate buyer would be willing to pay and an informed /
interested but not desperate seller would be willing to accept on the open market assuming a reasonable
period of time for an agreement to arise.
Price Determination
Based upon a scale of #1 (a high point show car) to #6 (parts car), I will determine a fair market value
based upon investigating the following:
1. Current auction results
2. Internet asking prices
3. Trends in the collector vehicle market
4. Current Price guide booklets – (NADA, Old Car Price Guides, etc…)
Method of Valuation
The value is estimated by current market data comparison supplemented by cost information. The
vehicle is compared with others for sale and that have sold in the general time period. Adjustments are

made for differences in equipment, mileage, cosmetics, sale terms, color hues, and current economic
conditions at the time of inspections.
Summation of Value
Our conclusion as to dollar value is based on three or more of the following:
1. The overall cosmetic and mechanical condition of the inspected vehicle.
2. The demand and available supply of comparables
3. Dollar amounts indicated by the value guides
4. The expertise of the appraiser
5. Opinions of dealers who have handled the model in the past, and would market the vehicle
currently
6. Auction results listing actual sold cars or the highest dollar bid against an owner’s reserve
Additionally, contained in this report maybe examples of comparables when available, for sale in the
marketplace. Asking prices fluctuate depending upon the overall cosmetic appearance, condition,
originality, the mechanical history and performance, recorded mileage, and configuration of power train,
options, and accessories The stated market value is the opinion of the appraiser and the management of
Classic Appraisals LLC and is arrived at after careful study of information we consider reliable. However,
we assume no responsibility for errors and / or omissions.
