30,000 service lines in the City
Approximately 12,000 lead service line replacements
20-25 years to complete all replacements
Plan to replace lead services first, followed by galvanized services. Copper services may be replaced if needed.
City will replace any service line 2” and smaller in diameter for a maximum of 1 replacement during the 20-25 year period so all residents benefit from the fee.
