CIH qualifications for CIHCM The courses listed in this document have been accredited by CIH and lead to full Chartered Membership of CIH (CIHCM). These qualifications often incorporate other qualifications such as the Edexcel (BTEC) HNC, N/SVQs in Housing, the CIH Level 4 Certificate and Diploma or Certificates/Diplomas in Higher Education. The CIH has recognised a number of Foundation degrees and degrees offering a BA or BSc in Housing or Housing related studies (e.g. Sustainable Communities). The qualifications can be studied full time, part time day and /or evening or by distance learning. These qualifications are ideal for those people who have completed the CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing or have A levels or significant experience in housing. These courses include the CIH 'practice requirement' for membership*. This is available to all part time and sandwich course students. Some full time students will be required to complete APEX through CIH – the Professional Practice Requirement for membership.
