Spring/Summer Flowers Flowers are donated to decorate our church sanctuary from now to October. As past years, a schedule to help arrange and decorate the Sanctuary will be posted on the welcome area bulletin board. The flowers are dropped off in the church kitchen (upstairs) every Saturday morning and need to be arranged in vases and placed in the sanctuary between 9:00—12:00.

Please sign your name on the sign up sheet for any Saturday that you are available to help. Thanks

Monthly Food Bank Drive Every 2nd weekend of each month, we have a Food Bank drive. Next collection will be the weekend of Oct. 8/9 Baskets will be on display in the welcome area for non-perishable or cash donations.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS Catechism classes will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 4th with registration and a social gathering starting at 6:00 pm. Parents, if you did not receive a registration package in the mail, and would like information, or know of someone interested, please contact the parish office, or come on the first day of Oct. 4th.

SECOND COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND This weekend, Sept. 24/25 there will be a second collection for the Needs of the Church in Canada (Catholic Missions). Thank you for your support.

NO DAILY MASSES WHILE Fr. Neil AWAY: Fr. Neil will be travelling home to the Philippines Sept. 5—Oct. 7th. In his absence, there will be no daily Masses Tuesday through to Friday however the Rosary and daily Adoration will continue at 9 am each Tuesday through Fri-day. Please welcome Fr. Ron Dechant of Kelowna who will be celebrating our weekend masses.

CWL NEWS A big thank you to all those who donated fruit and helped bake the delicious pies last weekend.

Community Life: McKinney Place Birthday Party for October is Oct. 25th at 2pm & all are welcome to help. Contact Dorothy Taylor for more information. Christmas Fiesta: We are looking for a convener for this year’s Fiesta. Please contact Linda Nunes if you are able to help. Fiesta Date is Saturday, December 3rd. Our Pilgrimage of Faith Campaign Our Pilgrimage of Faith Campaign will kick off on the week-end of Oct. 15/16 with a Parish BBQ on Oct. 16 at 5 pm. Your continued support for this yearly campaign is important for the ongoing programs of the Parish and the Diocese.
