SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Chapter-3
3.1Hardware Requirements
Application will be accessed through a Browser Interface. The interface would be viewed
best using 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600 pixels resolution setting. The software would be fully
compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer for version 7 and above. No user would be able
to access any part of the application without logging on to the system.
H/W requirement for Server
Processor Minimum: Pentium 4 CPU, 2.40 GHz Memory RAM: 2 GB Hard Disk: 150 GB
H/W requirement for Clients
Processor Minimum: 568 MHz Pentium Processor Memory: RAM 256 MB Hard Disk: 4 GB Display: 1024 * 768, True Type Color-32 Bit
Mouse: Any Normal Mouse. Keyboard: Any window Supported Keyboard. Internet Connection: 150 kbps

3.2Software RequirementsS/W requirement for Server
Software Configuration Operating System: Windows XP Professional Front End: ASP.Net, IIS Back End: SQL Server 2005 Internet Connection
S/W requirement for Clients
Any Web Browser but user interface shall be compatible to IE7.
3.3Assumptions And Dependencies
The minimum install requirements are fulfilled for proper functioning of the system. Reliability and consistency of output is dependent on correctness of data provided by system
users as input, as there is no explicit check on honest inputs and ethics of users.
Performance and speed of the system is dependent on the load and response time of both theserver and the network. There is no explicit check or system support for that as its not part
of development.
3.4Functional Requirements
Admin is the main login. He also has to login to access the data and add or remove the members. The members have to login to access the society information and access to the notices.

3.5Non-Functional Requirements
Portability:The system will be designed to be portable across popular Windows OS.
Extensibility:The system should be extensible to add further information and users for more expansion.
Re-Usability:The systems code could be reused to add further new features if need to be added in future.
Reliability and Availability:System shall be able to deliver the required in reliable manner.
Software Upgradeability:System is to be developed in phases, so it shall be easily upgradeable to include the new
items in the database.
