The Catherine House Journey of Discovery is aiming to raise $100,000 to support the hundreds of women who walk through the doors of the Catherine House Emergency Program.

Each trekker will commit to raise a minimum of $5,000 towards the group total. The Catherine House Fundraising Team will be on board to support you all the way!

The JourneyDay Activity Altitude Stay at Trek days

1 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel 1300m Hotel

2 Half day sightseeing - Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple – world heritage sites in Kathmandu. Trek Briefing in the afternoon.

3 Fly to Phaplu Airport (35 minutes). Sightseeing around Phaplu – school, monastery etc.

2420m Lodge 1

4 Trek to Ringmo Village – 4hrs (view of valley, meet local people etc.) 2700m Lodge 2

5 Trek to Taksindu – 3hrs (view Amadablam Peak, Mera Peak, and Everest Peak) 3035m Lodge 3

6 Trek to Sholung – 3hrs 2700m Lodge 4

7 Trek to Junbesi – 3hrs (visit local hospital, school and monastery) 2680m Lodge 5

8 After breakfast, visit Thupten Choeling Monastery and trek to Serlo Monastery (2hrs), view peaks of Numbur, Shorong, Yulha & Puja
