10:00 – 11.45 North of Trafalgar Square Commencing North of Trafalgar Square, ending on Shaftesbury Avenue (top of Rupert Street) in Chinatown at around 11.45AM, the Grand Parade will feature the largest gathering of Chinese Lions and Dragons in Europe, as well as seven traditional hand-crafted floats given to London Chinatown by the People’s Republic of China.

Gok WanSpecial appearance by TV celebrity, DJ and fashion stylist Gok Wan with festive surprises. 17:30 Finale Extravaganza featuring Techno Lion Dance by LCCA Chung Ching Team & Chickenshed; Money God; special mixes in fusion by Andy Leung, Harry Shotta, Su Zixu & British band Transition; dances by Hangyu Zhou in collaboration with Wanlin Academy of Dance and Performing Arts to celebrate the Year of the Dog and the Golden Era for UK-China Relations, with spectacular lighting and special effects as well as the magnificent pyrotechnics. 18:00 End of programme

12:00 - 17:00 Family and Children Friendly ShowJointly presented by the Chinese Culture & Education committee, YG Holiday, Macro Polo Academy and Sishu Chinese School, the colourful and fun show will feature performances by the Chinese Association of Woking, Dance Alley, Leon the Magician, Chickenshed Theatre and LCCA Youth Lion Dancers. There will also be a game and activity zone where you get a chance to try out with some traditional Chinese art craft, Chinese music instrument, brush painting and calligraphy, table tennis or simply let

your children try out some of the Chinese traditional costumes.

TALENT & COMMUNITY ZONECHARING CROSS ROAD

12:00 - 17:00 Music & Variety ShowVariety of performances celebrating the emerging talents from the UK and Asia. Featuring band such as Artemisia, UCL Chinese Orchestra, Retax, Hi-Fan Vocal Group; Singer-songwriter Le Fil; and Chinese community radio station Spectrum Radio. Witnessing some of the future ground-breaking work by these young talents. Spectrum Chinese Programme (558.net) will also bring fun and goodies to the audience. Supported by Jenova Music Festival.

MARTIAL ARTS & CULTURAL ZONESHAFTESBURY AVENUE

12:00 - 17:00 Martial Arts & Culture ShowMartial Arts Demonstration of various form performed by several Martial Arts Troupes including Jeffrey Alexander School of Martial Arts; Hin Wah Ving Tsun Wing Chun; Chinese Community Centre Tai Chi and Taekwondo Group. Also featuring classical music played by the Chinese Community Centre Chinese Orchestra. You will also get to meet DJs from Spectrum Sino Radio.
