Deal details
Deal is between XPCC (china) & KSG Agro (Ukraine)
Value of deal is £1.7 billionUnder the 50-year plan, China would control
3 million hectares, (which represents 9% of Ukraine's arable land).
Initially 100,000 hectares would be leased.
Under this deal Crops and pigs will be raised on this Ukranian land.
As part of the deal, China’s Export-Import bank has given Ukraine a $3 billion loan for agricultural development.
XPCC also says it will help build a highway as well as bridge in Ukraine.
