CHILD CONFLICTSCHILD CONFLICTS
PROJECT AND INSPIRATION The purpose of this project is to make the public aware about the different con-flicts children must face around the world. Focusing on the use of color to get my message across. At the same time, chal-lenge myself to aesthetically united the different posters. As for part of the adver-tising, I would like to make the target to engage and interact with the posters.
I have always been interested in Congo’s war and recently they have started to fight against child soldiers. These types of wars cause these three conflicts which are: child soldier , refugee children and trafficking children. Often it happens because these kids have not had the edu-cation to understand the evil in it all. They are still children, they are still innocent. My interest for Congo took me to a small...
... village in Senegal in 2010, where I met a sweet girl named Aisha Yaye. She helped me see that regardless of your culture all one wants is to be trully content. We want to be filled with family, friends, health and what I would like to highlight she helped me see we all want to learn. Aisha’s mother asked me if I could give Aisha a different life. One where she could study and where she would allowed to dream.

The background color represents the envi-roment the child is exposed to in this case I applied dark green since its associated with war and it communicates greed.
The light blue will be used to represent that which the child lost. Light blue is a sign of health, softness and health.
Most effective ad done.

CAMPAIGNI wanted to make the public interact with the posters. Something that is often used by kids and also have a significance of awarding an action is stickers.
Therefore, I have created these stick-ers that are colored asign to the assigned poster. The idea is that every time someone donates they get to place a sticket on the red area of the poster as a symbol of little by little the conflict will disappear. Eventually the gun will be cover by books and prohib-ited signs.

POSTERS WITH STICKERSAs part of my in class presentation I asked my co-mates to take a moment and put stickers on the posters and this is how they would start looking.

learnedI learned that the use of color can help the communi-cation. With just the color change you could trasfer from one conflict to another however still staying between the same design allowed it to keep a link to the advertising campaign.
This project also made me look back to what I had learned, and re-learned the importance of education. So, I will keep going to some day be able to raise the voice of those who are not heard or to light what has no light.
