Day 2 CHENGDU LESHAN EMEISHAN19.11.14 (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Activities: Panda Base, Leshan Giant Buddha.

After breakfast, pick you up at the hotel and accompany you on the 40 minute drive to

the Panda Base (about 1.5 hours) to see and take pictures the endangered great panda:the national symbol of China. After lunch at a local restaurant, Upon arrival, the groupwill do a boat trip passing the Leshan Giant Buddha, which is a statue of Maitreya (aBodhisattva usually represented as a very stout monk with a broad smile on his face andwith his naked breast and paunch exposed to view) in sitting posture. The charm of theBuddha lies not only in its size but also in its architectural artistry.

Activities: Emei Mountain, cable car leading to Golden Summit (Jin Ding), HuazangTemple.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and accompany you enter theEmei Mountain scenic area (about 2.5 hours). Emei Mountain is one of the four sacredBuddhist mountains of China. Mount Emeishan has been designated a World HeritageSite since 1996. Great spectacles of Mount Emei include the sunrise and Clouds Seaseen from the Golden Summit of the mountain.

After lunch at a local restaurant, the group will take the cable car to the mountain top— Golden Summit (Jin Ding, about 40 minutes), which the attraction-packed heart ofthe mountain. The Huazang Temple is one of the temples at the peak, and the firstBuddhist temple to be built in China by medicine plant farmer, Pugong in the 1stcentury AD. The original building was called Puguang Hall which later becameGuangxiang Temple. The current regal name was given by a Ming Emperor in 1614.

Day 5 CHENGDU KUALA LUMPUR22.11.14 (Breakfast)

Activities: Chengdu Shopping

Chunxi Road is the main shopping strip in Chengdu. The pedestrian street is just east of the MaoStatue on Tianfu Square and is lined with big and small name retail shops selling mostly clothesand accessories. Several shopping and eating streets branch out from this main strip and someof the city’s finest street food and cheap clothing outlets are hidden in and around this part ofthe city.

Have your own lunch during shopping (own expense).

Day 4 CHENGDU21.11.14 (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Activities: Dujiangyuan Irrigation Project & KuanAlley

Today kicks start after breakfast at hotel. Driveabout one hour to Dujiangyan Irrigation Project,which has been and still is nourishing the wholeChengdu Basin, for well over 2000 years.

Continue to Yuecheng Lake and enjoy its naturalbeauty and fresh air on a boat. Take cable car upMount Qingcheng, the origin place and the mostimportant center of Taoism. Enrolled as a WorldHeritage Site by UNESCO, Mount Qingcheng ishome to many Taoist temples and historical sitesamongst verdant trees and winding paths.

Transfer back to your hotel in Chengdu and stayovernight.

China Lane’s aka Kuan Alley is the representativeof the very local culture in Chengdu. Localpresidents, phoenix trees, inns and the old teahouses, all of these make Kuan Alley become aunique site. Kuan Alley is a symbol for modernpeople to memory the past Chengdu.
