SIGHTSEEING HIGHLIGHT

Chengdu : Panda Breeding Base~ The giant pandas are not only a Chinese national treasure but are also beloved by people the world over. They are found only in Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. Therefore, when visitors from home and abroad come to Chengdu, Sichuan Province one of their main objectives will be to see the giant pandas.

Kuanzhai Valley~ Kuanzhai Xiangzi (kuan means wide, zhai means narrow, xiangzi means alleys or lanes in Chinese), or Wide and Narrow Alleys, is the name card of Chengdu, a city with a long history. Here you can see the historical remains of the old Chengdu City, and experience the authentic local lesure life style. Once you walk into the Wide and Narrow Alleys, you will step into the most local, ancient, while international and stylish part of Chengdu City.

Huanglongxi Ancient Town ~ it is greatly admired by visitors for its beautiful natural scenery and ancient Chinese culture. With many scenic places of interest, Huanglongxi Ancient Town is worth a visit to find the old Chinese culture and customs. In a visit to Huanglongxi Ancient Town , travelers find many other antiquities, such as the Ancient Buddha Cave, the Buddha Weir and the Old Battlefield. Many Han burial cases of the Han Dynasty on cliffs, with important value for archaeological research.

Jiuzhaigou : Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area~ It is a great masterpiece of nature having dreamlike scenery, which combines blue lakes, waterfalls, verdant forests, snow-covered mountains, and the folk customs of the Tibetan and Qiang peoples. Legend has it that long long ago the deity of mountain named Dago had a crush on the goddess Semo, and he gave a mirror that was made from wind and cloud to the goddess. However, devil appeared and made trouble to Semo. Inadvertently, Semo broke the mirror into 108 pieces, which fell down to the earth and then turned to 108 colorful lakes. The lake is also called Haizi by local people.

Huanglong Scenic Area~ The 'World Wonder' and 'Fairy Land on Earth are names enjoyed by the Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area, which is well known for its colorful lakes, snow clad mountains, valleys and virgin forest. It was included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1992.

Diexi Haizi~ Diexi Haizi lies in the Maoxian County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, at the foot of Minshan Mountain, upper reaches of Minjiang River, is the best preserved, most typical and largest earthquake ruins in China which was formed from the Diexi 7.5 earthquake in 1933. It was reputed as the most beautiful earthquake ruins in China.

Mt Emei : Golden Summit~ On the mountain there are four scenic regions: Baoguo Temple, Wannian Temple, Qingyin Pavilion and Golden Summit Its main peak, the Golden Summit, is 3079.3 meters (10,103 feet) above the sea level, seemingly reaching the sky. Standing on the top of it, you can enjoy the snowy mountains in the west and the vast plain in the east. In addition in Golden Summit there are four spectacles: Clouds Sea, sunrise, Buddha rays and saint lamps. In 1996 Mt. Emei was enlisted in the world natural and cultural heritage by the UNESCO.

Leshan : Giant Buddha~ is a statue of Maitreya (a Bodhisattva usually represented as a very stout monk with a broad smile on his face and with his naked breast and paunch exposed to view) in sitting posture. The Buddha is located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province, at the confluence of three rivers, namely, Min River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River. The statue makes itself the most renowned scenic spot in that city. In December, 1996, the location of the Buddha was included by UNESCO on the list of the World Heritage sites.

D01 KUL Chengdu (-/-/D)

Upon arrival, meet & greet by local guide. Visit Jinli Ancient Street~ free for shopping.

D02 Chengdu-Jiuzhaigou (B/L/D)

After breakfast, taking domestic flight to Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival, transfer to Huanglong Scenic Area (one way cable ride). **Remarks: Nov-Mar due to weather condition unable to visit Huanglong, will replace by Munigou Scenic Area.

Afternoon, transfer to Jiuzhaigou.

D03 Jiuzhaigou (B/L/D)

Full day Jiuzaigou sightseeing: visit Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic (included public sightseeing bus).

D04 Jiuzhaigou-Chengdu (B/L/D)

Evening, transfer to Bian Bian Street.

Drive passes the ancient city of Song Pan and Diexi Haizi Scenic and Earthquake Ruins. Overnight in Chengdu.

D05 Chengdu-Leshan-Mt Emei (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town. Proceed to Leshan for the Leshan Giant Buddha river cruise tour.

Continue to Mt Emei and overnight.

D06 Mt Emei-Chengdu (B/L/D) Visit Golden Summit (included cable ride) and Baguo Temple. Back to Chengdu.

D07 Chengdu (B/L/D)

Visit Panda Protection Centre (included buggy), Kuanzhai Alley, Panda Post Office and free for shopping at Chunxi Road.

D08 Chengdu-Kuala Lumpur (B/L/-)

After breakfast, free for shopping at Chengdu Global Center.

After lunch, transfer to airport, for your flight departure.
