HAVE YOU CHANGED YOUR DETAILS?

Please notify the school office as soon as possible if

your child’s details have changed. This includes ad-

dress, phone numbers, health related matters and

emergency contacts. It is vital that this information is

kept up to date for your child’s well being and safety.

CHANGE OF CLOTHES

Please supply your child with a change of school

clothes in their school bag if your child is prone to

toileting accidents. This would be of benefit to your

child as it would minimise the disruption to their

class time and would benefit parents/caregivers as

they would not have to come to the school with the

spare clothing. Parents will always be informed of

any accidents of this nature.

STUDENT ABSENCES

It is a Department of Education requirement that any

absence from school is explained. This can be done in

writing to the class teacher or by phone to the school

office on 6551 1081. If your child is absent for 2 or

more consecutive days and the school has not been

notified, the Department of Education also require us

to contact the parent/caregiver of the absent stu-

dent for an explanation.

Absences can also be explained on our School App.

KINDERGARTEN TRANSITION Yesterday we held another Kinder Orientation visit and again we had a great turn out. The students for 2015 did some activities in the classroom and a music session with our ACMF teacher, Mick Eyb. Parents and caregivers then had the opportunity to have a morning tea. Our final Orientation visit will be on Monday 17 Novem-ber, 2014. Details are in the Principals Report on the front page.

STAGE 3 NEWS

Fifty two of our Stage 3 students are currently on their

school camp to the Great Aussie Bush Camp. They left

for their adventure yesterday and will return tomorrow.

Reports so far indicate they have been having a great

time with many more action packed activities to go. A

full report will be in our next newsletter.

THIRD IN THE STATE

Our Girls Touch Football Team competed in the PSSA

State Final last Monday in St.Marys, Sydney. Coach Miss

Anderson and Ms Brettle both accompanied the girls on

their big trip.

Their first game was against Bletchington Public School

and our girls played some outstanding touch football to

come out victorious 7-2. They then faced Berkeley Vale

Public School, unfortunately going down with Berkeley

Vale being the eventual winners.

The girls were so successful that they have featured on

Prime News and in the Manning River Times.

Congratulations to the girls on this fantastic achieve-

ment. Pictured below is the team of (L to R) Kalani Cross,

Ashlee Smith, Jordan Moscatt, Charli Muir, Jade Fowles,

Rachel Noonan, Lizzy Saunders and Kasey Muir.

ASSEMBLY

All classes from Kindergarten to Year 2 are beginning

to practise their item for the K-2 Christmas Concert to

be held in a few weeks time. This means that there

will be not items presented at our fortnightly assem-

blies for the next few weeks. We are looking forward

to seeing everyone come along to our concert in

GRANDPARENTS DAY

Grandparents Day was a great success with over 150

grandparents visiting us at school. Pictured below is

reading.

LABELLING OF ITEMS We urge all parents/caregivers to please label all of their children’s clothing and other items brought to school. Our lost property continues to have items such as hats and lunch boxes handed in without a name. If the items are labelled, this then allows the school to return the lost items to their rightful owner.
