Champion Student Recognitions

SA Stock Show Rodeo

The 2020 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Western Art contest is open to high school students

currently enrolled in one of the 94 eligible school districts, as well as those attending a private school

or homeschooled in one on of the 33 eligible counties. The Western Art Contest is held annually in

early December. This year the students whose entries are judged in the Top 17 at the contest will be

eligible for a total of $90,000 in college scholarships. Champion Drawing students did an outstanding

job this year placing well with over 500 entries.

Champion Way Student Recognition

Champion High School has implemented a platform to recognize 10 - 12 students each month.

Teachers will submit the name of a student or two students that they feel exhibit any of the following

characteristics and deserve campus recognition.

The characteristics of the Champion Way Include: Trustworthiness, Adaptability, Initiative, Courage,

Optimism, Contemplation, Perseverance, Compassion, Loyalty, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility.

Students and their parents will be invited to The Champion Way Student Recognition Ceremony along

with breakfast in our library.
