• This presentation is for you if you do not yet have a college degree.
• You will be applying for admission to earn a B.S. in Organizational
Leadership and Learning.

Application Process: Deadline is March 31st
This presentation will cover the following application steps in detail: 1. Step 1: Contact UofL Fort Knox Center 2. Step 2: Apply online for admission
• Before submi,ng your online applica4on you will want the following informa4on available • High school informa4on
• High school/GED year of gradua4on • High school cumula4ve GPA • ACT and/or SAT scores
• Postsecondary informa4on • Names, addresses, dates of aFendance at prior colleges/universi4es • Total semester hours earned and cumula4ve college GPA

Completed applications are due by March 31st. Courses begin online in May.

• Select “Apply now”

• Note the link is the same for both an “adult” and a “transfer” student

• If you have already begun your application, you may log-in with the e-mail and password you used in

• The university will send an e-mail to you, likely from [email protected], at the e-mail address you
register to verify your account. • Check your e-mail and follow the links to verify your
e-mail address and log-in. • If you don’t receive the e-mail in a few minutes, you
may ask to resend the verification e-mail.

• Once you click the link to verify your e-mail, you will be returned to the log-in screen.
• Log in using the e-mail address and the password you just created for your account.

• Select “apply online”

• On the first page of the application (page 1 of 5), complete your personal information.
• When finished, hit “next” at the bottom of the screen. You may also “save and exit” to return to
complete your application at another time.

• Select “yes” when asked if applying to get a Bachelor’s degree
• Complete the remaining questions as indicated • Click “next” when complete

• When asked to enter your program choice, • Select “Educa4on and Human Development” • Scroll down to find the following: “Org Ldrship &
Learning-‐Ldrship/Org Dev” • Select it and indicate the term “summer 2016” • Click “save program selec4on”
• Click “next” at the bottom of the screen

• On page 4 of 5, select that you plan to enroll full time (12 or more hours)
• If available and applicable, complete fields for • Classifica4on level (number of prior college
credits) • High school academic history • High school cumula4ve GPA • ACT and SAT scores as applicable • Any postsecondary experience
• Click “next” at the bottom of the screen

• On page 5 of 5, complete questions regarding applicant plans
• Under UofL Fee Waiver Policy, select “all other
applicants” and in the boxed labeled “For administrative
use only” type in the code: Contact
[email protected] or 502.852.6444 for the code • Certify the application is complete
• Click “submit”

• Submit official transcripts directly from all prior institutions via mail or e-mail.
• Students are responsible for sending transcripts from each individual college or university and fees
associated with their request • Transcripts can be mailed to

• Joint Service Transcript: https://jst.doded.mil/ • Find the University of Louisville Fort Knox Center
in the drop down menu and submit.
• Army Career Tracker. E-mail your Army Career Tracker “Career Record – Profile” to
[email protected] with subject “Last

Step 7: Complete UofL Trainings
Complete UofL Trainings Once you are admitted, the university will e-mail asking that you complete training(s) required for admission. Please complete the following trainings before arriving at Fort Knox. Instructions for the following trainings will be provided by e-mail: • Safe Haven training on sexual harassment • Alcohol.edu (if under 21)
• Please DO NOT enroll in or pay direct fees for orientation. Your application will generate an automatic response requesting your enrollment for orientation, which you do not need to complete at this time.

• Cadet Command will contact you asking that you complete a standardized test, the CLA+, in a
particular time window.

STEP 9 Prepare for Prior Learning Assessment

Step 9: Prepare for Prior Learning Assessment
• Your online course in May, Prior Learning Assessment Visit, will help you earn college credits
for experiences and training you have already had in the military. The course requires that you collect a
number materials documenting prior learning and trainings.
• Starting March 1st but no later than April 15th, visit
https://louisville.edu/education/cfdc/cfdc-admission, and review the welcome letter and checklist.
• Collect documents and work on items suggested in
the checklist.
