Cinnabon UAE celebrated the 30th anniversary of its world-famous cinnamon rolls with a special gathering at its Dubai Festival City branch on October 7th. Attended by Cravia officials, media representatives, bloggers and VIP guests. The event was packed full of fun and treats. Everyone present had the chance to enjoy delicious Cinnabon samples from the company’s newly-launched birthday cake product that was introduced to the menu in honor of the three decade milestone. Mr. Walid Hajj and Mr. Marwan Kandeel gave small speeches and cut a commemorative cake to mark the occasion.

The week-long anniversary celebrations continued after the gathering had drawn to a close, with the public enjoying limited edition Birthday Cake Bites, Birthday Cake Chillatas and special anniversary merchandise across all Cinnabon stores.

ity High in demand, Zaatar w Zeit continues to expand its operations in

the UAE with the opening of a new outlet in Media City, Dubai. Located in the Office Park building, the latest addition to the popular Lebanese urban eatery’s portfolio has been designed to serve Media City, Internet City and Knowledge Village.

Zaatar w Zeit’s new branch at Media City is its 14th in the UAE. Established to serve customers in the area with the highest quality and freshest food; the outlet has an indoor dining area and an outside seating option for everyone to enjoy its delicious menu options outside during cooler months. As with all Zaatar w Zeit outlets, the new Media City branch will provide take-away and delivery service.

Zaatar w Zeit UAE has had its advanced customer safety procedures and policies recognized with a major Food & Beverage industry certificate. The famous Lebanese urban eatery experience has achieved Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification, meaning that its operations have fulfilled the most stringent safety requirements relating to the provision of food. As part of giving back to the community and being socially responsible, Zaatar w Zeit took the initiative to plant trees at Gems Metropole School in Motor City. True to their slogan, “Together we provide our children a greener world,” they took part in this benevolent deed on Sunday the 18th of October 2015.

October 26th saw some major Cravia moves on this action packed sports day. Held at the Insportz Club in Al Qouz, the sports day featured football, cricket, bowling, volleyball, table tennis and basketball games. HQ, Zaatar w Zeit, Cinnabon, Seattle’s Best Coffee and The Steak Bar participated in exciting friendly matches. The winners won trophies and medals, and everyone went home with big smiles on their face.

This year, we decided to make it special. Cravia members gathered from different cities and different brands to meet at the Dubai Festival City branch. Once again making a difference, this world-class event demonstrated how important Cravia People and Brands are in our daily life. Tararaji is a name that is associated with outstanding service. He is a Zaatar w Zeit delivery driver in Abu Dhabi who went above and beyond the call of duty to make a customer happy.

We received an email from one of our loyal customers, commending him on his consistent commitment to delivering exceptional service.

This is an excerpt from the email:

To whom it may concern,

I’ve been a loyal ZwZ customer for several years, and I’m emailing you today to commend one of your delivery drivers for his outstanding, consistent commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Although I’m unaware of his name, he works at the Corniche Towers branch.

To give you an example of a situation, I once had a delivery where the bag leaked of oil. Although it wasn’t his fault, I voiced my concern to him, and he assured me it wouldn’t happen again and that my concern would be relayed to the branch. The next time I ordered, the same driver delivered, and he notified me that he ensured that the boxes were placed in a separate plastic bag inside the paper bag.

Besides this and several other notable events, this individual even texted me ‘Eid Mubarak,’ and remembered my name too.

Such individuals deserve to be recognized, as it’s not everyday that you witness such superior customer service. I truly hope the best for him.

To honor and reward his achievement, Tararaji was invited to the Wall of Fame lunch and was granted a bonus. He was also given a certificate of recognition to always remind him of his accomplishment.

Receiving emails like these remind us of how dedication and excellence do not go unnoticed. We should all strive to do a Tararaji every day.
