Amy Slessor and DaneMillerd exchanged wed-ding vows at VictoriaPark, Forbes on Saturday,October 20, 2012 at3.30pm.
Amy, the daughter ofJohn and Cathy Slessor ofForbes, chose an ivory A-line gown with lace-upback, train and rouchedbodice featuring embroi-dered motifs made ofbeads and lace.
Complementing thegown was a two-tier cir-cular veil with satin fin-ished edging.
Amy wore sapphireand diamond earrings andnecklace to match her en-gagement ring.
A special feature ofthe ensemble was Amy’selectric blue shoes.
Assisting Amy washer sister and maid of ho-nour Laura Slessor, andbridesmaids Clare Mac-Gregor, Amy Bryant,Aimee Graham and Hay-ley Courts.
A teardrop arrange-ment of cream roses andblue orchids was carriedby the bride, with themaid of honour andbridesmaids carrying thesame flowers in a posyarrangement.
The maid of honourand bridesmaids worelong satin electric bluedresses with a rouchedbustline capped off with adiamonte brooch as thefeature.
Dane, the son of Keithand Ros Millerd ofGunnedah, wore a pin-stripe black suit with asilver bow tie.
His best man, JasonGould and groomsmenJeff Wilson, Daniel Auld,David Bowden and Bren-dan Trevithick all woreblack suits with an elec-tric blue bow tie to matchthe bridesmaids.
The couple’s daughter,Lexi, was seven-months-old at the time of thewedding and formed partof the bridal party.
She was dressed in anivory satin and tulledress, made by Amy’sgreat aunty Margaret, andwas carried down theaisle by Amy’s maid ofhonour Laura.
Forbes marriage cele-brant Rhonda Keanepresided over the cere-mony.
A reception for Amyand Dane with their wed-ding guests was held atthe Forbes Services Me-morial Club.
The three tier choco-
late, white and caramelmud wedding cake wasmade by Shirley Myers.
It was finished withwhite fondant and fea-tured blue ribbon aroundthe sides with a bride and groom custom-madetopper.
Reception decorationsconsisted of white chaircovers with electric bluesashes, while tables fea-tured vases finished offwith a blue orchid andcream rose on top.
Entertainment wasprovided by DJ Haven ofTamworth.
A highlight of theevening was the groom’srendition of U2 song ‘AllI Want is You’ which hesung to his new wife with accompaniment bygroomsman Daniel Auldon the guitar.

Sarah, a retail assistant and daughter of Jill and JohnColes of Parkes, married Daniel, a police officer andson of Frank and Joy Gersbach and the late HelenGersbach of Parkes, in Parkes, on Saturday, November10, 2012.
The ceremony was held at the Holy Family CatholicChurch in Parkes at 3pm in front of family and friendsbefore adjourning to the Parkes RSL Club for the re-ception.
Sarah was assisted by her friends Lauren Dellacaand Janelle Laing, who wore strapless full-lengthchampagne coloured silk dresses.
The three women wore pearl earrings with a classicpearl bracelet and carried bouquets of baby pink roses.
Daniel was assisted by friend and best man NathanFarr and friend and groomsman Mark Forman.
The three men wore black Rodger David suits withwhite Country Road shirts and skinny black Van Hue-sen ties.
The bride’s niece Kiara Coles was the flower girland wore a below the knee flower girl dress from DavidJones.
Sarah’s godson Marty Davies was the page boy andwore a black suit complete with white collar shirt andblack tie matching those worn by the groom andgroomsmen.
The wedding cake, created by Kath Swansbra ofParkes, was a two-tier chocolate mud cake covered inwhite icing.
Reception tables were decorated with fish-bowlstyle vases filled with roses, with petals scattered un-derneath. A lolly buffet and photo booth was also avail-able for guests while at the reception.
Entertainment was by Parkes DJ.Wedding day memories were captured by Cupcakes
Photography, Forbes.The happy couple honeymooned in Noosa for a
week. An extended three-week honeymoon in Amer-ica will follow later this year.

Wedding in SydneyHuman resources officer Kelly Ferguson and
Real Estate Agent David Dent chose McKellPark at Darling Point, Sydney as the venue fortheir wedding.
Kelly, who is the daughter of John and CarlaFerguson of Mudgee and David, who is the sonof Lindsay and Margaret Dent of Forbes, choseto have a luncheon wedding reception atChiswick Restaurant, Woolahara.
The bridal gown was an A-line dress with onemetre train featuring a chiffon skirt and train overa silk lining.
The gown was complemented by a Frenchlace bodice with cap sleeves.
In her hair Kelly wore a French lace hair pieceaccompanied by pearl and diamond earrings.
Kelly carried a bouquet of white roses.Bridesmaid Karla Parsonage wore a royal
blue silk dress.For the wedding, David chose to wear a dark
blue suit, white shirt and silver and blue tie.Memories of the wedding were captured by
Modern Art Photographic of Northbridge.The couple honeymooned on Hamilton Island
for one week.
