DESIGN DEADLINES We are farmers too. That means when spring hits, we must be ready to spend most of our time in the field and not

in the office. All field dimensions, design ideas, and supporting materials must be submitted no later than March

15th. Once we submit artwork or designs to you, comments or revisions must be sent back within 3 business days

so we can continue to move forward. We cannot accept new jobs or guarantee the start of new work after March

15th. Jobs delayed past deadlines are subject to a $50 per hour fee for any hours past deadlines.

Want to save $150? Submit field dimensions, design ideas, and supporting material by February 15th and get

$150 off your design.

CHOOSE YOUR MAPPING We provide two options for designing your maze map. Choose a standard maze map and select from our library of pre-designed corn mazes. We have a wide variety of designs and sizes to choose from. See the library at www.cornmazesamerica.com/predesigned. Or, select a custom maze map and we will design a maze specifically for you. We start with designing artwork until we find a great image, and then we convert it into a maze to fit your field. Along the way we discuss how your design will facilitate your games and even traffic flow in the maze.

DESIGN TO FIELD You have three great options for cutting the maze yourself. See next page for info.

Corn Mazes America, LLC • www.cornmazesamerica.com

Option 1: Grid Cutting Use the graph paper design of the corn maze to cut your design. All lines on the paper represent one row of corn in the field. With the help of our detailed instructions, you will be able to transfer the paths on paper into the rows of corn in your field. Option 2: GPS Method We are not accepting any new customers in 2018 for our MazeGPS Cutter software. 2017 customers are eligible to continue service and should contact us for pricing. See the next page for other options. Option 3: Precision Planting If you have access to a precision planter with individual row shutoffs, you may be able to plant your design right into the field by not having any seeds dropped where there should be a path. We can convert any maze map into a .shp file with all paths defined as an area that meets the correct width of your paths. Contact us well in advance of planning on this option to ensure that this is a viable option with your equipment.

CHOOSING A CUTTING METHOD Our services packet is certainly not here to answer all of your corn maze questions (although we have two great books available for sale later in this packet that do answer many questions). However, one of the biggest questions you will face as a potential corn maze owner is how to get your maze cut. Since we are no longer in the business of cutting mazes and are not aggressively pursuing new customers (see our Business Philosophies on the next page), we want to give you what we believe is our unbiased review of your options. See our books for more details.

HIRING A PROFESSIONAL MAZE COMPANY TO CUT If you are already here looking at our website, chances are you may be looking to save a few dollars on your corn maze cutting. We get it. Hiring a professional to cut usually also means you must hire them to do the maze design. This total package usually starts around at least $4,000 and typically runs more than that. But don't turn your nose too quickly. A maze company is going to provide a high quality design and cutting that is rarely matched by farms who cut their own mazes (although some of our customers do some awesome cutting). Certainly there are a number of factors that play into the success of a maze and farm, but consider this: rarely do you see a large, established, and (at least in the publics' eyes) successful farm or corn maze with a maze that does not look professionally cut. A maze company can also provide great resources to help you get started right with a new corn maze venture.

CUTTING YOURSELF WITH THE GRID METHOD The grid method is the tried and true method for cutting your own maze. It works well and does not require much in the way of equipment assuming you already own a tiller or mower that you plan to use to cut your maze. Like every other method, some farms have cut fantastic mazes with this method, and some have cut some rough around the edges mazes. You may not have to learn any technology to cut with this method, but it does require a narrow window for cutting when the corn is just popping out of the ground. Cutting can be slow and tedious depending on the complexity of the design. But for small mazes and those who want a low-cost startup, the grid method can be an economical method.

CUTTING YOURSELF WITH GPS GPS certainly has its advantages. It allows for faster cutting in a more varied corn height. It can also allow for more detailed cutting of the maze too. However, if you are not at least somewhat tech savvy, it can be a frustrating process. Unfortunately, while there are hypothetically hundreds of options for GPS and software to use, there really are not many places that you can easily call and order a GPS system to cut a corn maze. In fact, to our knowledge the only company that currently sells a package is Farm Works Software. It is not that they are the only company with the right equipment as there are hundreds of companies from agriculture to surveyors selling GPS. But, they are the only one that advertises that they understand the process of cutting a corn maze and are ready to sell you a package to do it. Keep in mind that their package is adapted for mazes, but it is still software designed for another use and applied to the usage of corn mazes. It is not a perfect solution as it has its flaws, but seeing that a number of farms use it, it must work well enough. Just don't be afraid to splurge on an upgraded external GPS receiver. What about our MazeGPS Cutter™ GPS package? Doesn't that work? Yes, and it works great! Unfortunately, since 2015 we have not offered new sales of this package as we work to balance our workload with our own farm also.

PLANTING THE DESIGN WITH A PRECISION PLANTER Cutting edge technology with precision planters allow for a new and efficient way to get your design into the field. You must have access to a precision planter with automatic row shutoffs controlled by GPS. Ideally, each row should have it’s own separate shutoff. Then, as you plant the field each row will not plant seeds wherever there is a path. However, it is far beyond the practical price scope to buy this type of planter just to plant a maze unless you already have access to this equipment. With this method we offer file setup to create a file where all paths are defined as boundaries in a .shp file that can be imported and used by most planting equipment.

BUSINESS PHILOSOPHIES

UNDERSTANDING WHO WE ARE Since we were founded in 2004, we have gone through many changes both as a business and in our family lives. We are and have always been a small company of just myself, and after I married my wife Laura, she became involved also. We have always strived to provide good quality services at affordable prices. When I started Corn Mazes America I was 15 years old, and I had no idea what the future would hold. Now I am 29 and I still don't know what the future holds. But over the last 13 seasons I have had the opportunity to learn and grow along with each farm that we have had the pleasure to serve. As I went through college I had the opportunity to meet some of the top entrepreneurs from some really famous companies at a contest challenging other student entrepreneurs. The intensity of competition and meeting high profile people was exciting. Everyone was pushing us to do more. I went away like every other student there ready to start or grow the next great company. Except, one conversation stuck in the back of my mind with one of the entrepreneurs. He had encouraged a small group of us to consider what we really wanted to do. Do we really want to run a huge enterprise? What truly are our goals in life? Will starting a giant company give us contentment? I think it is important to share with you what my goals and priorities are. Laura and I are happy to say that we have survived our first two years as parents to our wonderful daughter. While I continue to learn new things each day, I am excited to continue to learn and be a great dad. With a toddler running around the house I also need to make sure I remain a great husband to my wife. These along with my faith are the most important things in my life. Secondly, I love to farm. When CMA started our farm had recently made the shift from being a dairy farm to a produce farm, and it still needed more growth to be more sustainable for multiple family members to be involved. Today it has continued to grow and now supports more family members. No, we are not getting rich, but it is a viable occupation. With growth it also now demands more time from both of us than ever before. So where does that leave CMA? In 2014 we started phasing out our corn maze cutting services, and by 2015 we had discontinued this altogether. It has been bittersweet. Maze cutting was always a love/hate relationship where I loved all the aspects of it except the constant equipment breakdowns 1,000 miles from home. And, it interfered with my other priorities. As our farm has become like having two full-time jobs, it has forced a need to severely limit what Laura and I can offer you. In some senses, it would be easier to just shut down CMA. But, that's not what we want to do because we love this business. Of course CMA does provide a little extra stable income which is never a complaint, especially in the uncertain job of farming. But that's not our primary reason for continuing our services. I love to create new things, and I love to help people learn and succeed. Since our founding we have always operated a little different take on the corn maze market. We worked to serve farms who were go-getters who wanted to do most of the work on their own but just needed a little help getting there. With that we usually became a lower cost option for many services. With that lower price came the expectation that we were not going to everything for you; we would just be a guide. We have chosen to continue CMA to help continue to serve those extra ambitious farms that just need a little assistance to reach their goal. But in return, we need to find a plan where that works for everyone. I really truly want to continue to help farms. We recognize that there are not many other options mirroring the format of services we offer. But I cannot do everything, especially when our farm gets busy. That's why we now have very early deadlines for our maze designs. From March 1st on, I spend most of my days outside committed to our farm. I cannot practically spend hours and hours making maze designs once the snow melts. So, we have narrowed our scope of services to specific deadlines and services that we feel will allow us to still provide you great service and still allow Laura and I to meet our other priorities. For some farms, these deadlines won't be practical for you. Chances are you may be reading this packet past our spring deadline. Our format probably will not fit the needs of most farms, and if that is the case there are some other

Page 6: CÓDIGO DE GOBIERNO CORPORATIVO EMPRESAS LA POLAR S.A

Corn Mazes America, LLC • www.cornmazesamerica.com

great options out there from more full service maze companies. I have personally met the owners of many of these companies, and they are great businesses and people. Here's a summary of the services we offer with deadlines.

OUR HOW-TO BOOKS

Are you ready to get paid to get people lost? If you have a cornfield and lawn mower, get ready to be a millionaire! Sound too good to be true? The reality is that corn mazes are not “get rich fast” businesses. However, with the right preparation and knowledge, corn mazes have the potential to be successful enterprises. The work for a corn maze starts well before the corn is ever planted in the ground. In this book corn maze experts Scott and Laura Skelly guide you through the steps from the first planning to grand opening. Along the way they cover how to design and cut your own corn maze both with and without using computers and GPS. They share more than fifteen years of experience through their work at Corn Mazes America to help farms around the world create successful corn mazes.

Agritourism has been around for many years, but the last decade has created a new interest and expansion of agritourism around the world. Whether farms are providing a fresh way to purchase produce, providing an entertainment venue, or creating family memories for their communities, agritourism is an attractive option for farms looking to change. But starting a new business comes with lots of questions, and farms need to be sure they are ready to face the challenges of a very unique operation before entering the business. If you are thinking about creating a corn maze, pumpkin patch, apple orchard, or any other agritourism venture, this book is a resource you cannot live without. This book is not meant to convince or discourage you to enter the agritourism business. It is meant to help you make the right decision if agritourism is right for you. If it is, this will provide a great starting point to make sure you get your business off the ground right. This book includes 90 pages of information with topics covering developing an agritourism business plan, choosing activities, product and food sales, how to price activities, marketing, safety, nighttime operations, and much more.

Each book is $27.95 with shipping, or available as a package for $44. Visit www.cornmazesamerica.com to order. Full Member Farms receive a free copy of each book in their first year.

MAZEGPS EXPLORER Smartphone GPS for Maze Visitors

CORN MAZE GPS FOR THE CUSTOMER Possibly the coolest advancement in corn mazes since those first paths were cut more than 20 years ago, Smartphone GPS is here. Turn your customers' phones into a fully functioning GPS map of the maze that shows their exact position. While we will not give you turn-by-turn directions to take all the fun out of the maze, you can choose from one of the fun characters to see your location in the maze. Will GPS ruin the challenge? Every visitor has a different level of comfort entering a corn maze. Some visitors pride themselves on never using a map to get out while other visitors will never enter a maze with fear of being lost forever. With maze GPS you can have a backup or full control.

• Check your position at any time when you need a little help getting relocated. or

• If you want the corn maze experience but fear getting lost forever, use your GPS to track your instant progress continually.

or

• Are you someone who dominates corn mazes? We won't tell if you try out the GPS just for a minute because face it, it's really cool.

PRICING Smartphone GPS is available as a stand-alone option or it can be integrated directly with our Maze Master Games so that customers can seamlessly move between both products in the maze. Visit www.mazegps.com for more details about this product. Smartphone GPS: $300 Smartphone Games + GPS: $500

PLEASE NOTE While the GPS feature like our other smartphone features are specifically designed for mobile use and data, please note that GPS features inherently use more device data and battery. MAZE MASTER SMARTPHONE GAMES SMARTPHONE PUNCH CARDS Do you offer checkpoint punches in your maze? Customers love their smartphones, and now they can love your maze on their phone. As visitors navigate the maze, they can punch a virtual punch card right on their phone. At each checkpoint they scan a QR code or enter a five digit number on their smartphone. When all the checkpoints are found, customers can enter a contest, receive a coupon, or even be listed on the online ‘Best Times’ list for your maze. You decide what information you collect. Use a special in-store page to show the Best Times to customers before they enter the maze and build excitement.

SMARTPHONE TRIVIA CARDS Do you offer trivia in the maze? Rather than offering just a handful of trivia categories, now you can give your customers access to more than 60 categories of questions including sports, movies, pop culture, education, scouting, Bible, youth, and more. Customers choose their category from their phone, and their questions are instantly displayed on their phone.

MAZE MAP Stop wasting paper with paper maps, and provide your maze map on your customers’ phones. All three components are integrated so customers can easily move between trivia, the punch card, and the map. If you decide not to offer a specific option it will not display.

FARM SCAVENGER HUNT/GEOCACHING Mobile features can extend outside the maze to create a separate scavenger hunt on the farm or even cell phone geocaching. Call for a demonstration.

CUSTOMIZED TRIVIA FOR GROUPS Do groups visit your maze? Great technology does not have to be limited to a phone. Offer groups coming to your maze the opportunity to write and print their own maze trivia questions before their trip with our classic Maze Master Trivia. Group leaders simply fill out a basic online form prompting for questions, correct answers, and incorrect answers. The Maze Master automatically generates a card with all the correct answers pointing the right directions. The leader prints enough copies for everyone in the group and brings it along for the visit. Maze Master Trivia is great for school groups, scouts, church groups, birthday parties, and corporate events. Plus, it adds an educational component that can be customized for any group and requires no in-season work from you.

PRICING All features on this page are included for just $300 per year. We host all the files and data on our computers, so you do not need any special equipment. All online setup takes less than 1/2 hour each year. Visit www.mazetrivia.com for more details.

Plastic PVC board is a smooth, relatively firm board 3mm thick. It is slightly stronger than corrugated signs, which is similar to many yard political campaign signs. It withstands seasonal weather use decently, but extreme cold, heat, or excessive wind can cause it to crack. Dibond is a stronger material with a solid core center and thin metal on each side to give a very durable sign. This material is common for outdoor informational signs. See our sample sign layouts on the next page.

• $50 processing fee covers sign design and creation, shipping, and sign printing sales tax.

• Design fee includes text and QR codes customized for your farm using our standard template. Customized backgrounds and templates are available for an additional fee.

• Other farm sign designing and printing available

• Orders require at least 3 weeks until delivery to allow for design setup, printing, and shipping. Orders placed after August 10th or requiring expedited processing will be assessed a $25 fee per order. No orders accepted after August 25th.

MAKE YOUR OWN Your online manager account provides you with all the data to create your own customized signs. Just use the provided QR codes and make your own design. Or, use our Sign Builder tool to make your own professional PDFs to print. You can print your own signs to laminate, or take your files to a sign shop to print.

CHECKPOINT PUNCHES These maze checkpoint punches are a great way to handle non-phone users at your maze. These punches are designed for outside use and will not rust. While they are not vandal proof and do eventually wear out, their durable design allows them to last much longer than most shaped hole punches. A predrilled hole allows the punch to securely attach to a post with a small chain. The small pins allow for different designs in each punch, and a mixture of up to 20 unique designs can be shipped. These punches are a great way to take the hassle out of your maze games. $9 each or box of 10 for $75 + $5 shipping

TILLING GOD'S LAND: 100 DEVOTIONS FOR CHRISTIAN FARMERS Scott Skelly, CMA's founder and owner, has written a new book for Christian farmers.

What would the Bible be without farmers? Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Job were all farmers. Shepherds came to find Jesus in the manger. Farmers and farming practices were at the center of many of Jesus' parables. And, even though he was the son of a carpenter, Jesus is called the Good Shepherd. Despite a gap of thousands of years, today's farmers face many of the same challenges as farmers in the Bible. Granted, Noah did not have a skid steer to shovel manure off the ark, and Abraham did not have GPS guidance on his oxen. However, those farmers experienced weather problems and crop failures, and also enjoyed successful seasons. Like us, they farmed and lived by faith. The stories of the biblical farmers still have special significance today.

The devotions in this book explore the living farmers of the Bible, as well as those who feature in so many of Jesus' parables. They also look at other scriptures and see how farmers of the twenty-first century can apply them to daily life. Author Scott Skelly shares his lifetime of experience as a farmer in this unique devotional collection. For more information or to order, visit www.TillingGodsLand.com. Tilling God's Land is available in print and Kindle formats.
