OUR PARISH MISSION STATEMENT Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton is a parish family

of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Louis, whose mission is to proclaim and live the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We are called to reveal the love of Jesus through worship, sacraments, education, formation, outreach, service, and the responsible stewardship of our God given gifts.

In the spirit of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, we strive to create a legacy of faith with a special love for the Eucharist welcoming all to “be children of the Church”.

Pastor’s Perspective

Many months of preparation, prayer, and perseverance were at last rewarded last Saturday evening. in an extraordinary celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation, usual reserved for the Vigil of Easter.

In the celebration of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and the Holy Eucharist, Aina Ferris, Joseph Hornbeck, and Justin Johnson were incorporated into the Mystical Body of Christ.

I ask that you join me in rejoicing at the graces Christ has showered upon these three neophytes and look forward to the blessings they will learn to share with family, friends, and neighbors as His witness to the world.

With many thanks to the team of catechists, prayer partners, I want to express special gratitude to Jim Lester, our long time RCIA Coordinator, who is retiring from this essential parish ministry.

Jim will be missed for his diligence, welcoming disposition, and attention to details.

I ask your continued prayer for those who will follow Aina, Joe, and Justin on the path to life in Christ in the coming years.

Men Invited To Make A White House Retreat

A group of men from SEAS will be making our annual retreat from 5:00 PM Thursday October 29th through Sunday November 1st at 1:00 PM .

This silent retreat provides an opportunity to listen to God's word and start preparing for the Advent season.

Seedbearers is a week-long spiritual/work retreat, where teens and adults volunteer to work on homes of people that cannot afford repairs or cannot do it themselves.

The goal is to reach out to others and attend to their needs, while spreading the Good News.

There is no cost to the homeowner, and all the work, materials, and money to do this comes from donations.

Seedbearers is also a place where teens can grow spiritually & learn valuable life lessons.

Teens have the opportunity to creatively use their gifts and talents, lead prayer services, make decisions, work as a team, have fun, and share in a lifestyle that is different from their own.
