Ces différents verres assurent des performances et une excellence dans toutes les conditions de luminosité ou atmo-sphériques.RP OpticsTM incorpore une philosophie de design qui vise à améliorer la vision et la protection oculaire en utilisant des verres sélectifs de haute performance optique et mécanique, associés aux technologi-ques et aux applications scientifiques les plus avant-gardistes.Notre programme présente des caractéristiques communes à chaque type de verre, dont la neutralisation complète des rayons UV jusqu’à 400 nm (protection UV400), et préserve l’intégrité des couleurs éga-lement avec les filtres les plus foncés. Cependant, nous retenons qu’il n’est pas suffisant pour protéger les yeux des radiations dangereuses et des agents extérieurs. TECHNOLOGIE IN-MOLDLe premier objectif de Rudy Project consiste à réduire au minimum les conséquences des in-cidents. Pour cette raison, la technologie In-Mold nous permet de fondre la coiffe externe en polycar-bonate directement pendant la phase d’injection du polystyrène expansé (EPS), permettant ainsi de créer une structure plus rigide et résistante aux chocs, extrêmement légère. L’action combinée de la structure en EPS, de la coiffe en polycarbonate et de l’exosquelette crée de la résistance à l’action mécanique provoquée par les chocs et dissipe l’énergie pour l’empêcher de passer à la tête de la personne qui porte le casque.

D’AÉRATIONGarder la tête fraîche et sèche est fondamental pour maintenir les performances au maximum. Grâce à la forme et au positionnement des pores d’aération externes et des conduits particuliers inter-nes à la coiffe, nos casques sont parfaitement aérés et confortables. Les d’aération ont été étudiées pour permettre une dispersion maximale de la chaleur, évitant ainsi une baisse des performances due au réchauffement, et permettant ainsi l’évaporation efficace de la transpiration.

SÉCURITÉ ET DISTRIBUTION DE L’ÉNERGIE Les chutes peuvent coûter cher et avoir des conséquences défi-nitives. Le point de départ pour le développement du casque de cyclisme et de VTT Rudy Project consiste dans l’adoption de matériaux d’excellente qualité qui garantissent sécurité et confiance. Pour cette raison Rudy Project s’engage à utiliser seu-lement des matériaux hautement avancés capables d’absorber les chocs et de dissiper l’énergie mécanique sans la faire passer à la tête et au corps. La structure de nos casques associe une coiffe en polystyrène expansé (EPS), un matériau capable de disperser la force générée par les chocs à travers la déformation plastique, et en polycarbonate, pour une durée et une protection supérieures.

VORTEX KILLER SYSTEM™Système innovant breveté Rudy Project pour diriger les flux d’air qui augmentent sensiblement l’aération à l’intérieur du casque.Obtenu grâce à l’association scientifique de la géométrie du casque aux deux fentes d’air latérales, VORTEX KILLER SYSTEM™ vise à faci-liter la direction du flux d’air, cause naturelle de friction et d’insta-bilité, sur l’arrière du casque. L’air est donc dirigé derrière le cou et les épaules de l’athlète, à une intensité et à un volume différents par rapport à l’air provenant de la direction opposée. Ce système ajoute beaucoup plus d’aération à l’intérieur du casque : l’Air Director crée des zo-nes de hautes/basses pressions, sur chaque côté, de façon à ce que l’air provenant de la fente de droite circule vers la fente opposée du Director pour après sortir. Par ailleurs grâce à cette amélioration de l’aération l’évaporation de la transpiration s’accélère offrant un soulage-ment à l’athlète.

CENTER PRESSURE BALANCE™Parmi les principales nouveautés du casque, l’équilibre du poids a été amélioré en déplaçant vers l’avant le centre de pression, grâce à la réduction de la longueur de la queue et à l’ajout de matériaux sur la partie frontale du casque (Dorsal Ridge). Ceci permet également de canaliser de façon aérodynamique la force du vent

latéral par rapport à l’axe de rotation.

DIRECTIONAL FLOW™La nouvelle forme de ce casque offre tous les avantages des formes de l’aile de la NACA (National Advisory Committee for Areonautics) évitant la dépense naturelle de l’énergie nécessaire pour fendre l’air.

COMMENT VÉRIFIER LES PARAMÈTRES DE CORRECTION DES VERRES OPHTALMIQUES RUDY PROJECT?

Tous les verres RX Rudy Project (aussi bien monofocaux que progressifs) contiennent 2 marquages laser semi-visibles : tout d’abord, vous devez les détecter et les marquer ; ensuite placez les verres sur les références appropriées disponibles sur le site et marquez : a) le point de montage, b) le point de référence du prisme, c) le point de référence distant (uni-quement pour les verres progressifs), d) le point de référence proche (uni-quement pour les verres progressifs). Reportez les marquages indiqués sur la surface externe des verres et vérifiez les paramètres d’ajustement avec une règle.

EST-CE QUE LES COULEURS DES VERRES HI + 1.6 ET DE LEURS HOMO-NYMES EN VERSION PLANO SONT LES MÊMES?

La couleur des verres HI+1.6 peut varier en fonction de l’épaisseur du ver-re. Par ailleurs, en cas de traitement miroir, les différences de matériaux et de processus de fabrication ont un effet sur la transmission de lumière et l’intensité de l’effet miroir.

Oui, Rudy Project accepte aussi les commandes des verres sans montu-re, en tenant compte que cette disponibilité concerne exclusivement les modèles inclus dans ce catalogue.

EST-CE QUE JE PEUX COMMANDER UN SEUL VERRE RX?

Rudy Project conseille de commander à chaque fois une paire de verres, pour éviter des effets photochromiques différents entre les deux verres ou toute différence entre les bases des teintes.

QUE FAUT-IL FAIRE SI UN CLIENT A DES DIFFICULTÉS À S’ADAPTER AUX VERRES IMPACTRX?

Tout d’abord, l’opticien doit déterminer de manière précise quelle est la gêne du patient : distance de vision concernée, les circonstances pendant lesquelles le problème se fait sentir (vision statique ou dynamique), quelle solution le client a trouvé pour remédier au problème…vérifier de nou-veau les paramètres de correction…vérifier de nouveau l’équilibre bino-culaire; être sûr que l’œil directeur ne change pas en portant les lunettes Rudy Project ; que l’acuité stéréoscopique ne montre pas de réduction particulière. En ce qui concerne les verres progressifs, vérifier que la va-leur d’addition est cohérente aux conditions d’utilisation des lunettes en question.

COMMENT GÉRER LES RÉCLAMATIONS CLIENTS?

Avant de renvoyer les lunettes de vue à Rudy Project, nous vous prions de demander et de compléter le formulaire de réclamation et de le renvoyer à Rudy Project. Nous vous répondrons dans un délai de 24 heures.

QUELS SONT LES AVANTAGES DES VERRES DIRECT RX PAR RAPPORT AUX LENTILLES DE CONTACT OU DES CLIP-ON?

Les lentilles de contact peuvent causer des instabilités visuelles (dues à la sécheresse de l’œil, aux chocs, à la sueur, etc). Par rapport aux clip-on, les avantages sont multiples : champ visuel plus large, poids plus léger, utilisation et manutention pratiques, moins de risque de buée.

DOIS-JE AVOIR UNE LICENCE SPÉCIALE POUR VENDRE DES VERRES DE VUE?

Les lunettes de vue sont considérées des dispositifs médicaux. La vente au consommateur final doit donc toujours être faite par un opticien agréé qui certifie la conformité des lunettes. Ceci dit, il est important de vérifier la législation de chaque pays.

Par conséquent la lecture au frontocomètre ne peut pas être considérée la valeur réelle. Nos labo-ratoires utilisent des instruments sophistiqués constamment calibrés qui vérifient les paramètres de correction pendant tout le processus de pro-duction ; à la fin du cycle, une fois l’assemblage fait, toutes les lunettes sont mesurées avec un instrument spécial qui tient compte des différents paramètres cités ci-dessus.

Il est clair qu’il faut partir de la prescription actuelle : généralement la pre-scription recalculée par Rudy Project garantit un meilleur résultat pour celui qui porte les lunettes ; cependant l’évaluation d’autres paramètres tels que la distance, la lumière, les conditions environnementales, l’équi-pement technique vont aider à améliorer l’expérience avec les nouvelles lunettes Rudy Project.

EST-CE QU’Il EST POSSIBLE D’AVOIR DES CORRECTIONS PRISMATIQUES AVEC LES LUNETTES RUDY PROJECT?

Rudy Project est capable de produire des verres ophtalmiques avec une correction prismatique allant jusqu’à un maximum de 4.00 dioptries, si cela est compatible avec la compensation prismatique introduite pour optimiser l’angle panoramique.

Le programme ImpactRX propose la même gamme de couleurs des ver-res plano ImpactX. Il est important de souligner que la différence de rigi-dité de la version ophtalmique (obtenue avec une formulation différente du matériau) et la présence de traitement de durcissement (et anti-reflet s’il a été demandé) donnent une réaction différente de la part des pig-ments photochromiques et peuvent donner lieu à des différences mini-mes en termes d’absorbance. ENTRETIEN DES VERRES RUDY PROJECT

GARANTIE DES TRAITEMENTS

Le traitement Diamond Coat™ a une garantie de 2 ans pour les défauts de fabrication. Cette garantie prévoit une seule substitution du produit défectueux avec un produit avec les mêmes caractéristiques. Les domma-ges dus à une négligence ou à une utilisation non appropriée ne peuvent pas entrer dans la garantie. Le service Contrôle Qualité Rudy Project se chargera de remédier au défaut.

VERRES RAYÉS

Tous les verres Rudy Project sont soumis à un traitement spécifique qui permet de renforcer la résistance superficielle du matériau, ceci n’exclut pas que les verres peuvent se rayer en cas de choc, de frottement ou de contact avec des superficies plus dures ou abrasives. Les rayures peuvent aussi endommager l’effet miroir, Multilaser plus que les autres teintes. La négligence ou l’utilisation non appropriée du matériel ne peuvent pas faire l’objet d’une prise en charge par Rudy Project. L’évaluation sera faite par nos services.

GARANTIE SUR LE PHOTOCHROMATISMELes pigments photochromiques utilisés par Rudy Project sont garantis pendant 2 ans sauf en cas de non activation. La gamme d’activation est décrit page** et pour des motifs de fabrication, elle ne peut pas être com-parée aux verres plano. Il faut considérer non seulement le travail con-tinu pour améliorer le produit, mais aussi les performances d’activation qui sont liées à des facteurs environnementaux tels que la température et l’altitude. Il faut savoir aussi que comme tous les produits de nature organique, les pigments photochromiques subissent un vieillissement, non quantifiable en cycle ou en heures de fonctionnement, mais variables selon les conditions de radiations UV absorbées.

Rudy Project a toujours recherché les matériaux aux meilleurs standards de qualité afin de garantir la durée maximale de ses produits ; ceci dit, il existe des normes d’utilisation et de manutention qui permettent de prolonger l’efficacité de votre équipement technique.

• Ne jamais déposer les lunettes avec les verres vers le bas et les ranger dans leur étui toutes les fois qu’elles ne sont pas utilisées.

• Nettoyer régulièrement les lunettes en les rinçant avec de l’eau courante froide après chaque utilisation, en utilisant un détergent neutre et en les essuyant avec une lingette douce.

• Rappelez-vous que le contact ou l’exposition à des substances telles que l’acétone, les colles, les fixateurs, les dégraisseurs, les solvants, les lubri-fiants (liquides, pâte ou spray), les parfums, les laques, les crèmes solaires, les insecticides, les vapeurs peuvent endommager les traitements super-ficiels ou les matériaux des verres, les rendant inutilisables.

• L’exposition éventuelle à des milieux salés demande un entretien plus régulier et des lavages fréquents avec de l’eau douce, afin de minimiser l’action corrosive du sel marin qui se dépose sur les verres.

• Ne pas laisser les lunettes Rudy Project exposées à des sources de cha-leurs qui peuvent endommager les matériaux (comme le tableau de bord de la voiture ou la boîte à gant).

DÉFAUTS DE FABRICATION

Rudy Project substituera les verres représentant un défaut de fabrication. La substitution sera effectuée une fois que Rudy Project aura évalué le produit défectueux.

EN CAS DE NON ADAPTATION AUX VERRES PROGRESSIFS

Si le client ne s’adapte pas à ses verres progressifs, Rudy Project lui offri-ra une possibilité de substitution avec de nouveaux verres monofocaux dans un délai de 60 jours à partir de la date d’expédition. Le client aura par ailleurs la possibilité (une seule fois) de demander une nouvelle paire de verres progressifs avec une modification en considérant les paramètres de correction ou de gradation des verres avec une remise de 50% dans un délai de 90 jours (tout autre supplément non inclus dans la commande originale ne fera pas l’objet de cette remise). Cette procédure sera appli-quée à réception des premiers verres. Le produit ne sera accepté qu’après le consentement de Rudy Project.

Rx Optical Insert : The value Option Rudy Project has created RX optical inserts that can be snapped in behind the polycarbonate Rudy Project lenses. Thanks to our patented ‘easy-in easy-out’ system, our Clip-ons can be inserted or removed with ease. This is particularly useful when you want to wear your contact lenses or when cleaning.

• If you do not have access to the reference template supplied in the package with the clip-on, use the false lens.

• The distance between pupil and clip-on lens is never the same as between the pupil and the lens of the prescription glasses.

• For the inter-pupil distance measure the optical axes with the clip-on fitted on the glasses.

• Always ask your customers for valid prescription from the eye doctor within the last two years. The prescription must contain a valid reading for sphere and pupil distance (PD).

• We recommend spherical prescription lenses.

• Warning: Perception‘s clip-on is made out of Grilamid TR90 and should not be overheated! (or very slightly - low melting point!) to fit the prescriptions.
