if you take care of your Quick•Step® oiled floor from the start, it will age beautifully and you will avoid the need to re-oil.

compare this to moisturizing your hands; you wash them regularly, which is necessary, but by doing so your hands become dry. a good moisturizer protects your hands. the Quick•Step® oil care does the same with your oiled floor: it protects and maintains your floor, preventing it from drying out and looking dull, restoring it to its original beauty.

if you clean your floor on a weekly basis with Quick•Step® cleaning products, you should use the Quick•Step® oil care once a month. if, for example, you clean your floor every two weeks, you should use the Quick•Step® oil care once every 2 months.

Dilute the cleaning product in a bucket of water and mop the oiled floor with a well wrung out Quick•Step® cleaning mop.

Underfloor heAtingevery Quick•Step® wood flooring –with exeption of ash- is suitable for installation over traditional underfloor heating.keep in mind the following remarks.

> For the highest thermal transmittance and optimal efficiency we advice to glue down your floor with Quick•Step® Parquet Glue. a sudden or large change in temperature can cause condensation since a damp-resistant screen cannot be used when the wood floor is glued down. one must take into account the possibility of open joints during the heating period.

> With a floating installation using a Quick•Step® underlay, the most effective result is obtained with the Quick•step® unisound Pro. using the correct underlay can stop rising damp or condensation. open joints during the heating period are almost non existent. compared to a glued installation the thermal transmittance and efficiency is slightly lower.

this Ms polymer glue (solvent- and isocyanate-free), especially developed to glue your Quick•Step® wood floor to most types of sub-surfaces is a ready-to-use, one-component glue. it provides good resistance to humidity and is highly elastic so your floor can breathe and expand freely with any temperature variations. it leaves no residue on your hands!

Gluing down your engineered wood floor is the best way to reduce reflection sound to a minimum. this is the sound you hear when you walk across the floor.
