Key RequirementThe Client required QA support for Business Intelligence Dashboard and Migration Projects.

Achieving the above objectives required:

Creating products for multiple brands and multiple retailers

Creating orders and maintaining the order states

Automating the end-to-end business flow of Brand to Retailer Integrations. This included automating complex scenarios like file uploads to SFTP and API services automation

Support for unattended test execution and reporting mechanism

Solutions ProvidedAddressing these business requirements needed testing of multiple applications and devices including the Client Portal. The Client Portal has a web application that can be used by Retailers and Brands integrated through Client Platforms to determine the product KPI, Linesheet Management, Reta i ler Channels Management, Revenue, Dispatch SLAs, Product Returns, and Return Values, etc.

Key Business Challenges The critical factor that determined the success of the entire business model was a smooth and integrated IT environment of Retailers and Brands.

This required:

(i) Integration Testing between brands and retailers to ensure smooth communication between 2 different environments.

(ii) Portal Testing to ensure desired functionalities.


Designed and implemented behavior driven development testing solution (Selenium + Ruby) to provide acomprehensive test coverage for each Sprint by increasing maintainability, readability, and scalability of the automation.

Built a robust Selenium and Cucumber framework to handle the UI Portal and API services automation

Designed a unique in-house Ruby Gem to develop automation framework
