Ms Parekh after completing M.Sc. from Nagpur University decided to start business of her own. She focuses on developing a detergent that would be superior in terms of quality. She added mild perfumes that would remain on the cloths giving fresh feeling when person wears it over a long period.
She knew that detergent market was monopolized by multinationals like Surf and Ariel; local brands were available at lower price. She prepares her own marketing plan.
- Detergent will be available in two colors i.e. Blue & Red.
- 2. Prices would be lower than the leading brand.
- 3. In addition to advertising she would organize door to door selling in Nagpur.
- 4. Test marketing would be carried out in Nagpur and neighboring areas.
- 5. Within six month of marketing detergent powder she will introduce detergent cake & detergent liquid in the market.
