Tyler Perry is seen as a very hard working man and this is because he’s an American actor, director, screenwriter, playwright, producer, author and a songwriter. He was born as Emmitt Perry Jr. On the date of September 13th, 1969. The way he started was from he writing and producing many stage plays in 1990s and 2000s. In 2011 Forbes said he was the highest paid man in entertainment, as he was earning 130 million dollars between May 2010 and 2011.
When Tyler Perry was a child he tried to commit suicide so he could escape his father’s beatings, however his mother took him to church each week, this is where he sensed a certain refuge and contentment, from the age of 16, he changed his legal name to Tyler so he could distance himself from his father. I believe that this was the thing that pushed and made him want to do more for himself as he believed he needed to make it somehow after all the things he had been throw in the past and the thing that made him want to do much more is when he watch “Precious” and it just pushed him a little bit more. The style he uses for him to make people laugh, he believes it’s more or a comedy and he shows the urban side to everything in every film he does.
He got this Award in 2005 for being an outstanding actor and writer for the movie Dairy of a Mad Black Woman
He got this Award in 2005 and 2006 for Outstanding Achievement in Screenwriting and Outstanding Motion Picture, for the movies Madea’s Family Reunion and Diary of a Mad Black Woman
He got this Award in 2005, 2007, and 2008 for being the Best Screenplay Original or Adapted in the movies Meet the Brown’s, The Family that Prey’s, Madea’s Family Reunion and Diary of a Mad black Woman, also because he was the Best Breakthrough Performance.
He got this Award in 2006 and this is because he was the Best Comedic Performance in the movie Madea’s Family Reunion and Breakthrough Male Performance in the movie Diary of a Mad Black Woman.
He got this Award in 2012 for the Best movie in Good Deeds.
