Dear Friends,

The Osceola County Council on Aging has worked tirelessly for35 years to help vulnerable citizens live with independence anddignity. During that time, Osceola County has become home toa swiftly growing senior population that is largely indigent andin critical need of assistance. More than 20% of Osceola County’spopulation is over the age of 55. While the Council has continuedto keep pace with the growing needs of our community, we havereached the point of outgrowing the facility where our organizationprovides services. A new Center is needed to not only maintaincurrent levels of service, but to prepare for the increasing numbersof residents who will most certainly need our help in the future. There are so many ways you can help meetthe growing need. The Council on Aging urges you to consider the contribution suggestions contained inthis letter, and do your part to make Osceola County a kind and compassionate community. After all, todayit is your neighbor ... tomorrow it could be you.

Sincerely,

Beverly HouglandChief Executive Officer
