This is a very good initiative which helps reecting the 'in-campus'

activities and all happenings. This is the best outlet for immense

potential and creativity what our students, Alumni and Staff

beholds to showcase and also to stay connected with external &

internal community thereby preserving the relationship with IGBS

& ICEM.

I hope, more and more students will come forward to feel intently,

observe keenly, think deeply and thereby express themselves in a

distinct way.

Indira Institute is an amalgamation of competent teachers,

state-of the-ar t infrastructure and an experienced and

efcient administration. I feel honored to be the Principal of

Indira College of Engineering and Management, provides an

opportunity to interact with the students, faculties, supporting

staff regularly. While studying at the Indira College of

Engineering and Management, the students would be

groomed to become condent, articulated and enlightened

young citizen, ready to enter into global society with dignity,

honour and integrity. We value individualism, creativity and

innovation and strive to nature them. We appreciate students

who are creatively curious and strive to experiment & innovate

new things on both academic and non-academic fronts. Our

pedagogy is student – centric with emphasis on inquiry and

project based learning. We treasure dynamism and deem that

one should be well prepared to adapt to the world wide

scenario and work on his learning accordingly.

Dear Readers,

Being the member students' in-charge of editorial team of

Indira Global Business School's E-newsletter it gives me

immense pleasure to bring forward this welcome issue.

The theme of "Campus Drone" was a long time coming. Since

a weak link is better than a strong memory. This newsletter will

surely make the reader travel down, the lanes of memory,

giving rise to surge of emotions of many hues and colors.

With sense of pride and satisfaction, I would like to say that

with the active support of faculty members and students,

"Campus Drone" has come alive. I stand awed by the sheer

number informative articles, powerful stories, heartwarming

creative art-work and corporate insights that has started

pouring in for the Newsletter.

Amidst a sea of electronic communications, memes, and

motivational desktop backgrounds, the classic college

Newsletter board is still a steadfast source of information and

inspiration.

A well-designed, intriguing Newsletter has the ability to get

people to stop walking, look away from their phones, and

absorb relevant messages

This is a hugely exciting time for the Indiraites of ICEM & IGBS

as the Newsletter 2019 is set off to a great start. Hundreds of

hours of work have gone into nailing the best reading

experience and ensuring that the Newsletter is easy to

understand for everyone!

View From the “Team Campus Drone”

It gives us immense pleasure to launch our monthly e-newsletter “Campus Drone”. A joint effort by IGBS & ICEM-MBA Dept. The

newsletter will be essentially covering all the happenings at the campus and will prove as a platform for students to express their thoughts.

At our campus we engage in so many activities whether it may be of academics related or non-academic, varied between

routine class room lectures, presentations, Group Discussions to cultural activities, sport activities, poster presentations etc. We always

keep this Manomay campus live, vibrant and happening. We also have natural richness, beauty around us in abundance that adds more

liveliness to our campus.

To spread this liveliness and beauty throughout the Indira group, we felt the need of a medium. And taking in to account this need the

idea of the e-newsletter came up.

This e-newsletter will comprise following sections,

· Editor of the month (from faculty)

One faculty member will be chosen for every issue to share his/her view which will prove useful for our students.

· Feature Stories (by students)

This section will be contributed by students of Manomay campus, which will include various aspects of academics, society,

industry etc

· What's happening (Campus Buzz)

The name of this section tells itself about its contents.

· Industry Guest.

The article from a selected industry person will be invited to express his views which in turn will guide our students to take

challenges of modern era.

· Book in Spotlight.

Latest book in market worth reading.

· Alumni Forum.

This section will comprise Alumni article in which he/she will express his/her views about business trends etc.

· Quiz corner.

· Leading Edge (Personality for the Month)

Article about any eminent personality which will elaborate his/her efforts, achievements etc

We are very much assured that all our students, faculty, staff members of Manomay Campus will contribute and enjoy to spread

this joy throughout the campus and world outside with this “Campus Drone”.
