WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR CAMPERS TO FIND GOD, NATURE AND FUN ALL IN ONE PLACE!

This isn't just any camp. This is Camp Ithiel! We are a Christian camp located in Gotha, Florida. We offer multiple summer camp experiences, giving youth between the ages of six and eighteen the opportunity to experience God's creation outdoors along with the comfort of air-conditioned facilities! Our summer camps give campers the chance to participate in fun and exciting activities like canoeing, life-size angry birds, archery, hiking, 9 Square in the Air, gaga ball, cookouts, campfires, arts and crafts, and much more.

Camp is a special place for youth to also explore and enrich their faith. Our desire at Camp Ithiel is to challenge campers to grow intimately in their relationships with Jesus and walk with Him every day of their lives. This means diving into Scripture while experiencing fun and exciting adventures. We promote faith formation through activities such as daily Bible studies, small groups, morning devotions and evening worships!

We want campers to recognize the incredible love of Christ through outstanding counselors and staff. We exist to provide a safe Christian environment where youth can encounter God through worship, creation and Christian community. What better way to spend your summer than having fun at Camp Ithiel. Come and join us!

Spiritual Goals

We work hard to see campers:

(1) Develop Relationships with Christ (2) Serve Others (3) Practice Spiritual Disciplines (4) Learn God's will (5) Respect One Another (6) Live Out Christ's Teachings (7) Recharge Faith

Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children.Ephesians 5:1 (HCSB)

2014 SUMMER THEMEGet Real: Finding Your True Self inJesus

There is a lot of fake out there. In a culture of manicured online profiles, electronically altered images, and relentless deception in advertising, it is difficult to know who our friends are and whom we can trust. Not to mention how easy it is to buckle under the pressure and try to become the images we see.

We all must seek our own real identity from a trust-worthy source. God is the most trust-worthy friend any of us will ever know. Our summer theme for 2014, Get Real: Finding Your True Self in Jesus, will teach campers that we are not created in the image of popular culture. We are created in the image of God, who loves us just as we are and asks us to trust others in the same way.

Let's get real and investigate together the man named Jesus, discovering just how good He really is!

Age Requirements: Anyone wanting to participate in Camp Ithiel's summer camp program must go to the appropriate camp designed for their age group. There will be no exceptions made. Please do not register for a camp that is not for your camper's age group. View age requirements on page 5.

Mail-in Registration: Register your camper by printing out the registration form online and mailing it in. Registration forms must include a $50.00 deposit. Please make checks payable to Camp Ithiel. Mail all appropriate registration forms to P.O. Box 25, Gotha, FL 34734.

Scholarships: Assistance is available for campers in financial need. They are given on a first-come, first served basis. Visit our website to learn more about how to apply for camperships. We also encourage campers to seek financial help from outside sources, like churches, community centers, etc.

Summer Offering: Every year our camp takes up an offering that goes toward a ministry we believe is taking Jesus seriously. This summer we will collect gifts for New Covenant School of St. Louis Du Nord in Haiti. Please bring school supplies and/or money to support the cause!

DiscountsWe are offering two discounts for campers to take advantage of this summer.

Bring-A-Buddy: Invite a buddy to come with you to camp and you both will receive $30 off your tuition. To qualify, one camper must have attended a 2013 camp experience. Your buddy must not have attended camp before OR has not attended in the last three years. Both cannot be requesting financial assistance from Camp Ithiel. Outside financial assistance is permitted.

National Youth Conference (NYC): Cost of tuition is lowered to $100 for any Senior High camper attending NYC in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Camper attending NYC must provide us with the confirmation email they receive after registering for NYC, and they cannot request Camp Ithiel to scholarship their remaining camp balance.

ContactCamper Mail: We encourage parents to send their camper mail. We recommend sending mail out Monday or Tuesday to ensure campers receive them before leaving Saturday. Emailed letters can be sent to [email protected] with the camper's name as the subject.

2014 Summer GoalOur desire is to reach as many youth as possible. Never do we want to just see the same faces year after year. We want to see new faces along with familiar ones! We want to constantly be growing in our camper attendance. Therefore, we have to do all we can to make sure young people know about God's work in Gotha, FL.

So, we have set a goal. Our desire for 2014 is to increase camper attendance by 40%. This goal is audacious; however, it is not impossible. Not without your help, of course! We need your help! Here's how:

1. Pray: Jesus said, "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it." We believe prayer is a powerful thing, especially when so many people are praying around the same thing. We are praying and we invite you to join us.

2. Promote: Tell people about camp. Help us get the word out. Pass out our brochure; send people to our website; make an announcement about camp once or twice a month at your church; post about us on Facebook and Twitter. Whatever you can do, do it.

3. Invite: Be bold and invite a friend from school, from around your community, from your church, etc. You can start simply by sharing your camp experience with someone.

4. Repeat: Don't stop praying, promoting and inviting! Keep the dream alive and make the decision to continually tell yourself, "don't stop, won't stop!"

Join us on this mission to see Camp Ithiel grow and influence more lives. Let’s see what God does through us this summer!
