Calibration Procedure for Brabender Feeder. 1. Note the actual value (W0) 2. Place the test known weight (Wt).It should be placed in the center of the load cell. 3. Read the new weight (W1) 4. Read the actual weight if actual weight is equal to displayed weight then ok else step5 5. Compute the difference (W1-W0) 6. Check lever factor , if (W1-W0)=Wt then lever factor is correct 7. If (W1-W0)not equal to Wt then lever factor is to be corrected , LFnew = LFold*(Wt/W1-W0) Checking of Discharge rate. 1. One should select CM mode first, 2. Need to set the set point in % in page no. F300 3. Place the collecting receptacle under the device. 4. Then the feeder needs to be started. 5. The feeder will run for 1 min., and then it will stop & come back to GF mode automatically. 6. Now weight the sample, if it matches then ok else step 7. 7. Disconnect the device. 8. Unscrews the cover of the unbalanced weights. 9. Increase or reduce the unbalance by 5%. 10. Tightened the cover. 11. Make the device ready for operation. 12. Test the discharge rate again if ok end else step7
