We are looking for students who are organized, friendly, patient, dependable, work well with individuals and small groups in a public environment, know a bit the town of Florence, its features and the local mobility and who share a strong enthusiasm for Italian culture and/or high school competitions and/or mathematics. The European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad is an international mathematical competition addressed to talented high school female students. About 50 teams of different nations will take part in the event. Your main duty will be to follow, assist and befriend one of these teams of four students and their adult leaders, during the whole week of the competition, , 2018. Housing Accommodations and meals are included in the hotel where the competition takes place.

Wages Maybe there will be some small economic reward, but please be aware that this is volunteer work for people who want to participate in a unique event, in an exciting international setting: an awesome opportunity to practice languages, meet different cultures, get to know interesting people and make a difference. (Plus, the hotel is 4 stars and there will be free gadgets and cookies!)

Dates From April 9th to 15th, 2018.

Workplace Mainly inside Grand Hotel Mediterraneo, Florence, but there will be organized tours to other places.

If selected, you will participate in a group audition and, if selected from the audition, you will participate in an individual interview.Female candidates who speak Italian will be given some priority in the selection process.

Four hours of training in March, plus 60 hours of work on different shifts, with full time availability (24/7) during the week of the event, from April 9th to April 15th, 2018.Commitment
