PEROT MUSEUMThe World’s Largest Dinosaurs

Opens April 6

"The World’s Largest Dinosaurs", which was recently on view in Paris at the Mu-seum National d’Histoire Naturelle, draws on cutting-edge paleo-biological research that looks in part to living organisms to make inferences about how these giants—some of which grew to be longer than 150 feet, or the length of four standard city buses—were able to thrive, as a group, for approximately 140 million years. Through innovative exhibits, "The World’s Largest Dinosaurs" takes visitors beyond the bones and into the bodies of these titans, shed-ding light on how heart rate, respiration, metabolism and reproduction are linked to size. This innovative, interactive exhibi-tion includes a life-sized, fleshed-out model of a 60-foot-long, 11-foot-tall female Ma-menchisaurus, known for its remarkable 30-foot neck. An interactive excavation will show visitors how dinosaurs are discovered in the field through a replicated dig site. Tickets to "The World’s Largest Di-nosaurs" are timed entry and available on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid long lines and sell outs, visitors are strongly en-couraged to purchase advanced tickets at pe-rotmuseum.org. You may purchase the dis-counted ticket to the general museum at the Concierge Desk for $10.00. Then, there is an additional fee to The Dinosaur exhibit cost-ing $6.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.
