iPhoto-myPhoto project is a multilateral Comenius project approved for the period of 2013-

2015 and financed by the European Commission with 24 000 Euro. Six schools from six different

countries have been involved in this project:

Uşak Lisesi, Uşak, Turkey (public school 70 teachers, 1100 students).

Vilniaus Abraomo Kulviecio Vidurine mokykla, Vilnius -Lithuania (public high school, 1100 students).

Colegio Luisa de Marillac, El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain (private school, 320 students).

Gimnazjum no. 29. Konstitukji im. 3 Maja WE Wroclaw, Wroclaw, Poland (public school).

Liceul Tehnologic Special "Vasile Pavelcu" Iași, România (special technological high school, 260 students, 69 teachers).

Agrupamento de Escolas Dr. Antonio Augusto Louro - Escola Basica 2 e 3 Ciclos Dr. Antonio Augusto Louro, Lisbon, Portugal (public school, 95 teachers, 872 students).

The main project goal was to reflect, through photographs: people, culture, customs, traditions,

social relationships, geographic characteristics for each country through participating in „iPhoto”

project. "MyPhoto" means that these photos reflect only the opinions, visions of project team members

on the topics mentioned above and that each one can have a different angle of view.

The project has been stimulating the curiosity of students and teachers as well to discover the

European diversity in relation to their country and to determine differences and similarities, exchange

ideas and develop general knowledge through writing, visual arts, music, dance, web design and the

main activity: the photography.

Altogether, there were six seminars / workshops, one in each country, the first taking place between

21st and 25th of October 2013 in Turkey and the last one in Spain, 2-6th of June.

The final products are: project website, Facebook group, e-book that includes the best photos and

their stories, printed version of the e-book, cultural lessons-„ corner lessons ", photo exhibitions,

postcards and a printed calendar for 2015 with photos taken by the team members.

Dissemination has been made constantly at local, national and international level including press

and using internet resources.
