This crocodile was over hunted for its valuable skin.

Then on the 20th century there was a conservation law put into effect.

Males get up to 11 feet, females get up to 9 feet.

• There are about 8.5 million inhabitants, who are either residents of Papua New Guinea in the eastern part of the island.

• There lifestyle is starting to fade away, because of other country's are taking over.

• Today, more than 80% of the people live outside of towns. The natural resources provide basic needs that cover food, education, health and other needs.
