Describing a person or thing:
*A word that describes a noun is an adjective.-El muchacho moreno es muy alto. -La muchacha rubia es muy baja.
The words in red are adjectives
*In Spanish, an adjective must agree with the noun it describes.
- If the noun is masculine, the adjective must be in the masculine form.
- If the noun is feminine, the adjective must be in the feminine form.
Most singular masculine adjectives end in O:
-un alumno serio-un muchacho guapo
• Most singular feminine adjectives end in A:
-una muchacha bonita-una alumna grasciosa
