Bocca doesn’t say who he is and says he wants to be left alone with no fame or flattery

Dante then threatens him to tell his name and grabs him by the scruff or Dante will pull all his hairs out but Bocca is not moved by it

Dante then starts pulling out hairs to make him scream, then another souls tells Bocca to shut up and says his name

Dante the says since he would not talk he would spread his reputation to the living. Which is betraying his party at the battle of Montaperto in 1260.

Bocca then tells him of other sinners that are also in the same ring as he is.

At the end of Canto 32 Dante sees to other souls

He describes them as one head using another for a cap

As the other chews on the nape of the first as if he was chewing on bread

Dante then ask who they are and give them renown fame on earth
