Οδηγίες ασφάλειας

• Σιγουρευτείτε ότι τα χαρακτηριστικά της παροχής του μηχανήματος είναι κατάλληλα για την λειτουργία της καμπίνας αμμοβολής.

Προσοχή! θα πρέπει να τηρείτε τις παρακάτω οδηγίες για να μειώσετε τον κίνδυνο φωτιάς, ηλεκτροπληξίας και τραυματισμού.

• Διαβάστε καλά όλες τις οδηγίες χρήσης και ασφάλειας πριν να επιχειρήσετε να χρησιμοποιήσετε την καμπίνα αμμοβολής. • Κρατήστε το χώρο εργασίας σας καθαρό και τακτοποιημένο. • Οι ακατάστατοι χώροι και πάγκοι μπορεί να προκαλέσουν σοβαρό τραυματισμό. • Μην εκθέσετε τα εργαλεία στην βροχή και στην μεγάλη υγρασία. • Εξασφαλίστε καλό και επαρκή φωτισμό στο χώρο εργασίας σας. • Μην χρησιμοποιείτε τα ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία κοντά σε εύφλεκτα υγρά ή αέρια. • Προσοχή κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας! • Αποφύγετε την επαφή με γειωμένες επιφάνειες. • Κρατήστε τα παιδιά μακριά. • Μην επιτρέψετε σε άλλα άτομα να βρίσκονται κοντά στον χώρο εργασίας όταν λειτουργείτε το μηχάνημα. • Εγκαταστήστε το μηχάνημα σε σημεία όπου τα παιδιά δεν μπορούν να έχουν πρόσβαση. • Μην υπερφορτώνετε το μηχάνημα. Τα αποτελέσματα θα είναι καλύτερα όταν το χρησιμοποιήσετε για τον λόγο και με τον

τρόπο που σχεδιάστηκε. • Να ντύνεστε κατάλληλα κατά την εκτέλεση της εργασίας. • Μη φοράτε φαρδιά ρούχα και κοσμήματα γιατί μπορεί να πιαστούν στο κινούμενα μέρη του μηχανήματος. • Η χρήση γαντιών και αντιολισθητικών υποδημάτων προτείνεται κατά την χρήση του μηχανήματος. • Χρησιμοποιήστε γυαλιά προστασίας. • Χρησιμοποιήστε μάσκα προστασίας και ωτοασπίδες. • Ασφαλίστε το κομμάτι εργασίας σας χρησιμοποιώντας κάποια μέγγενη. Είναι πιο ασφαλές από το να το κρατάτε με το

χέρι. • Μην τεντώνεστε. Να κρατάτε πάντα σταθερό πάτημα και καλή ισορροπία όταν χρησιμοποιείτε το μηχάνημα. • Ελέγξτε συχνά το μηχάνημα σας για φθορές και ζημιές. Σε περίπτωση ζημιών θα πρέπει να το παραδώσετε σε ένα

εξουσιοδοτημένο τμήμα Service προκειμένου να επισκευαστεί από εξειδικευμένο προσωπικό. • Κρατήστε τις λαβές του μηχανήματος στεγνές και καθαρές από λάδι και νερό. • Αποσυνδέστε το μηχάνημα από την παροχή αέρα, πριν να πραγματοποιήσετε κάποια εργασία επισκευής ή συντήρησης ή

προτού αντικαταστήσετε κάποιο εξάρτημα. • Αφαιρέστε όλα τα εργαλεία και λοιπά αντικείμενα που μπορεί να υπάρχουν κοντά στο μηχάνημα πριν το εκκινήσετε.

Υπάρχει κίνδυνος τραυματισμού. • Αποφύγετε την ακούσια εκκίνηση. Σιγουρευτείτε ότι ο διακόπτης είναι κλειστός πριν να συνδέσετε το μηχάνημα με την

παροχή. • Δώστε προσοχή σε αυτά που κάνετε και ελέγχετε πάντα τις κινήσεις σας. • Ελέγξτε για χαλασμένα ή φθαρμένα ανταλλακτικά. Όταν ένα εξάρτημα παρουσιάζει κάποια βλάβη θα πρέπει να

αντικαθίσταται από εξειδικευμένο προσωπικό. Μην χρησιμοποιήσετε ποτέ το μηχάνημα εάν έχει χαλασμένο διακόπτη ή προστατευτικό κάλυμμα.

• Χρησιμοποιήστε μέσα συγκράτησης για να σταθεροποιήσετε μικρά τεμάχια προτού ξεκινήσετε την διαδικασία διάτρησης. • Παραδώστε το μηχάνημά σας σε εξουσιοδοτημένο τμήμα σέρβις για συντήρηση και επισκευή. Επιλέξτε τα αυθεντικά

ανταλλακτικά που προτείνει ο κατασκευαστής. Αυτό θα εξασφαλίσει ότι η ασφάλεια του μηχανήματος διατηρείται. Παροχή πεπιεσμένου αέρα

1. Ποτέ μην συνδέετε μια πηγή αέρα που μπορεί να υπερβεί τα 200 PSI. Η λειτουργία του εργαλείου με υπερπίεση μπορεί να προκαλέσει έκρηξη, μη φυσιολογική λειτουργία, θραύση του εργαλείου ή σοβαρό τραυματισμό ατόμων. Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο καθαρό, ξηρό, ρυθμιζόμενο πεπιεσμένο αέρα στην ονομαστική πίεση ή εντός της ονομαστικής περιοχής πίεσης όπως σημειώνεται στο εργαλείο. Ελέγχετε πάντα πριν χρησιμοποιήσετε το εργαλείο ότι η πηγή αέρα έχει ρυθμιστεί στην ονομαστική πίεση αέρα ή εντός της

ονομαστικής περιοχής πίεσης αέρα.


2. Ποτέ μην χρησιμοποιείτε οξυγόνο, διοξείδιο του άνθρακα, εύφλεκτα αέρια ή οποιοδήποτε εμφιαλωμένο αέριο ως πηγή αέρα για το εργαλείο. Τέτοια αέρια είναι ικανά έκρηξης και σοβαρών τραυματισμών για τα άτομα. 3. Ποτέ μην αφήνετε πεπιεσμένο αέρα στο σύστημα παροχής ενώ έχετε τελειώσει με την εργασία. Εκτονώστε τον αέρα από το σύστημα, απενεργοποιήστε τους διακόπτες και κλείστε τις βάνες της παροχής. Οξείδια του αργιλίου και Πυριτίαση

Προσοχή! Η αμμοβολή που γίνεται με κρυσταλλικό πυρίτιο μπορεί να προκαλέσει σοβαρή ή θανατηφόρα αναπνευστική ασθένεια. Η έκθεση σε κρυσταλλικό πυρίτιο μπορεί να προκαλέσει πυριτίαση (σοβαρή πνευμονική νόσο), καρκίνο και θάνατο. Η έκθεση στο οξείδιο του αργιλίου (σκόνη που παράγεται κατά τις κατεργασίες

απομάκρυνσης υλικού) μπορεί να προκαλέσει ερεθισμό των ματιών, του δέρματος και προβλήματα στην αναπνοή. Χρησιμοποιείτε πάντα εγκεκριμένα ατομικό εξοπλισμό προστασίας (γυαλιά ασφαλείας, γάντια και μάσκα προστασίας). Αποφύγετε την έκθεση του δέρματος. Απαιτείται καλός εξαερισμός του χώρου εργασίας. Διαβάστε και κατανοήστε τα 10 συνιστώμενα μέτρα που αναγράφονται παρακάτω για να μειώσετε τις εκθέσεις σε κρυσταλλικό πυρίτιο στον εργασιακό χώρο και να αποφύγετε τους θανάτους που οφείλονται στην πυριτίαση και σε σχετικές ασθένειες. Τα ακόλουθα μέτρα ασφαλείας προτείνονται για τη μείωση της έκθεσης σε κρυσταλλικό πυρίτιο στον εργασιακό χώρο και για την πρόληψη θανάτων που οφείλονται σε πυριτίαση και σχετικούς θανάτους: 1. Απαγορεύστε την χρήση άμμου που περιέχει πυρίτιο (ή άλλες ουσίες που περιέχουν περισσότερο από 1% κρυσταλλικό πυρίτιο ως αποξεστικό υλικό εκτόξευσης) και αντικαταστήστε την με λιγότερο επικίνδυνα υλικά. 2. Διεξαγωγή ελέγχων του αέρα για τη μέτρηση των εκθέσεων των εργαζομένων. 3. Χρησιμοποιήστε μεθόδους και εξοπλισμό που περιορίζουν την εκπομπή σκόνης, όπως είναι οι καμπίνες αμμοβολής, για τον έλεγχο του κινδύνου και την προστασία των παρακείμενων εργαζομένων από την έκθεση. 4. Εφαρμόστε καλή προσωπική υγιεινή για να αποφευχθεί η περιττή έκθεση σε σκόνη οξειδίου του πυριτίου. 5. Φορέστε πλενόμενα ρούχα προστασίας ή ρούχα προστασίας μίας χρήσης στο χώρο εργασίας. Εάν υπάρχει η δυνατότητα κάντε ένα ντους και φοράτε καθαρά ρούχα πριν εγκαταλείψετε το χώρο εργασίας για να αποτρέψετε τη μόλυνση των αυτοκινήτων, των σπιτιών και άλλων χώρων εργασίας. 6. Χρησιμοποιήστε μέσα προστασίας και ελέγχου του αναπνεόμενου αέρα όταν τα σημεία ελέγχου των συστημάτων των πηγών δεν μπορούν να κρατήσουν χαμηλή την έκθεση σε διοξείδιο του πυριτίου. 7. Θα πρέπει να παρέχονται περιοδικές ιατρικές εξετάσεις για όλους τους εργαζόμενους που ενδέχεται να εκτεθούν σε κρυσταλλικό πυρίτιο. 8. Αναρτήστε σήματα για να προειδοποιήσετε τους εργαζομένους σχετικά με τον κίνδυνο και να τους ενημερώσετε για τον απαιτούμενο προστατευτικό εξοπλισμό. 9. Θα πρέπει να παρέχεται στους εργαζομένους κατάρτιση που περιλαμβάνει πληροφορίες σχετικά με τις επιπτώσεις στην υγεία, τις εργασιακές πρακτικές και τον προστατευτικό εξοπλισμό για το κρυσταλλικό πυρίτιο. Οδηγίες προστασίας κατά των κραδασμών Αυτό το εργαλείο δονείται κατά τη χρήση. Η επαναλαμβανόμενη ή μακροχρόνια έκθεση σε κραδασμούς μπορεί να προκαλέσει προσωρινή ή μόνιμη σωματική βλάβη, ιδιαίτερα στα χέρια, τα χέρια και τους ώμους. Για να μειώσετε τον κίνδυνο τραυματισμού που σχετίζεται με κραδασμούς: 1. Οποιοσδήποτε χρησιμοποιεί εργαλεία που παράγουν δονήσεις τακτικά ή για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα θα πρέπει πρώτα

να εξεταστεί από έναν γιατρό και στη συνέχεια να πραγματοποιεί τακτικούς ιατρικούς ελέγχους για να εξασφαλίσει ότι δεν προκαλούνται ή δεν επιδεινώνονται τυχόν ιατρικά προβλήματα από τη χρήση. Οι εγκυμονούσες γυναίκες ή οι άνθρωποι που έχουν μειωμένη κυκλοφορία του αίματος στο χέρι ή είχαν στο παρελθόν κάποιο τραυματισμό των χεριών, διαταραχές του νευρικού συστήματος, διαβήτη ή νόσο του Raynaud δεν πρέπει να χρησιμοποιούν αυτό το εργαλείο. Εάν αντιληφθείτε πως έχετε συμπτώματα που σχετίζονται με δόνηση (όπως τσούξιμο, μούδιασμα και άσπρα ή μπλε δάχτυλα), ζητήστε ιατρική συμβουλή το συντομότερο δυνατό.

2. Μην καπνίζετε κατά τη χρήση. Η νικοτίνη μειώνει την παροχή αίματος στα χέρια και στα δάχτυλα, αυξάνοντας τον κίνδυνο τραυματισμού που οφείλεται σε κραδασμούς.

3. Χρησιμοποιήστε τα εργαλεία με τα χαμηλότερα ποσοστά δόνησης όταν υπάρχει επιλογή. Συμπεριλάβετε καθημερινά κατά την διάρκεια των ωρών εργασίας κάποιες περιόδους απαλλαγμένες από δονήσεις κάθε ημέρα.

4. Κρατήστε το εργαλείο όσο το δυνατόν πιο χαλαρά (ενώ εξακολουθείτε να διατηρείτε τον ασφαλή και πλήρη έλεγχο του). Αφήστε το εργαλείο να κάνει την εργασία, μην το υπερφορτώνετε.

5. Για τη μείωση των κραδασμών, διατηρήστε το εργαλείο όπως εξηγείται σε αυτό το εγχειρίδιο. Αν παρουσιαστούν ασυνήθιστες δονήσεις, σταματήστε αμέσως την λειτουργία.

Εξαρτήματα σύνδεσης Λαμπτήρων Συνδέστε τους σφιγκτήρες (37) στην οπίσθια πλάκα (19) που βρίσκεται στο εσωτερικό της καμπίνας χρησιμοποιώντας τα μπουλόνια που βρίσκονται τοποθετημένα στους σφικτήρες.

Γάντια αμμοβολής 1. Ασφαλίστε τους δακτυλίους στερέωσης γαντιών (33) και τους δακτυλίους στεγανοποίησης των γαντιών (30) στην

εμπρόσθια πλάκα της καμπίνας (17) χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες (48). 2. Τοποθετήστε τα γάντια αμμοβολής (41) πάνω από τους δακτυλίους στερέωσης των γαντιών και στερεώστε τα στη θέση

τους χρησιμοποιώντας τους σφιγκτήρες (31).

Θυρίδα απομάκρυνσης σκόνης Συνδέστε τη θυρίδα απομάκρυνσης της σκόνης (22) στην εξωτερική πλευρά της αριστερής πλάκας(18) χρησιμοποιώντας τα μπουλόνια και τα παξιμάδια που βρίσκονται τοποθετημένα στη θυρίδα.

Καμπίνα αμμοβολής Σημείωση: Όλες οι φλάντζες είναι προεγκατεστημένες σε όλες τις πλάκες της καμπίνας αμμοβολής. Χρησιμοποίησε ένα ζουμπά ή ένα καρφί για να δημιουργήσετε τρύπες στο στεγνωτικό υλικό για την εγκατάσταση μπουλονιών. Σημείωση: Τοποθετήστε την επάνω πλάκα στην άκρη του τραπεζιού με τις φλάντζες στραμμένες προς τα πάνω.

Σημείωση: Ευθυγραμμίστε τις τρεις μεσαίες τρύπες κατά μήκος της πάνω πλάκας (16), κατόπιν ευθυγραμμίστε τις υπόλοιπες τρύπες κατά τη συναρμολόγηση. Αφήστε όλες τις συνδέσεις χαλαρές μέχρι να τοποθετηθούν όλα τα μπουλόνια στη θέση τους. Χρησιμοποιήστε τα μπουλόνια των φλαντζών (47), τις ροδέλες και τα παξιμάδια για να στερεώσετε τα τμήματα στη θέση τους. 1. Συνδέστε την εμπρόσθια πλάκα(17) και την οπίσθια πλάκα (19) με τα επάνω άκρα της πάνω πλάκας (16) επικαλύπτοντας τις μπροστά και πίσω φλάντζες πάνω από τις άκρες της πάνω πλάκας (16) (Βλ.1 στη σελίδα 10).

2. Τοποθετήστε την αριστερή πλάκα (18) πάνω από τις άκρες του της εμπρόσθιας, της οπίσθιας και της πάνω πλάκας. 3. Τοποθετήστε το πλαίσιο της πόρτας στην άλλη πλευρά της εμπρόσθιας, της οπίσθιας και της πάνω πλάκας και ασφαλίστε χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες (47), τα παξιμάδια και τις ροδέλες. Ευθυγραμμίστε τις οπές του μεντεσέ της πόρτας και της πόρτας (24/13) κατά μήκος του οπίσθιου άκρου της οπίσθιας πλάκας της καμπίνας (19) και ασφαλίστε τα στη θέση τους χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες και τα παξιμάδια που έχουν βρίσκονται τοποθετημένα στην πόρτα και τον μεντεσέ. 4. Όταν πλέον έχετε τοποθετήσει όλα τα πάνελ στη θέση τους, σφίξτε όλες τις συνδέσεις. Φωτισμός και διακόπτης ενεργοποίησης / απενεργοποίησης φωτισμού 1. Τοποθετήστε το σύστημα φωτισμού (39) στους σφιγκτήρες (37) και ασφαλίστε το χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες και τα παξιμάδια. 2. Κατευθύνετε το καλώδιο του συστήματος φωτισμού μέσα στην οπή της αριστερής πλάκας της καμπίνας (18). 3. Εισάγετε το άκρο του καλωδίου στο περίβλημα του διακόπτη (21). Συνδέστε τα καλώδια φωτισμού στον διακόπτη. - Το ΜΠΛΕ καλώδιο του συστήματος φωτισμού στο ΜΠΛΕ καλώδιο του διακόπτη. - Το ΚΑΦΕ καλώδιο του συστήματος φωτισμού στο ΚΑΦΕ καλώδιο διακόπτη. 4. Τοποθετήστε το διακόπτη (21) και το κάλυμμα του διακόπτη (20) στην αριστερή πλάκα της καμπίνας(18) χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες που βρίσκονται τοποθετημένα στο περίβλημα του διακόπτη. Τοποθετήστε την κλειδαριά της πόρτας (12) στην μπροστινή πλάκα της καμπίνας (17) χρησιμοποιώντας τα μπουλόνια και τα παξιμάδια που βρίσκονται τοποθετημένα στην κλειδαριά.

Χοάνη 1. Τοποθετήστε την αριστερή και δεξιά πλάκα της χοάνης (7) στις εσωτερικές φλάντζες της μπροστινής και οπίσθιας πλάκας της χοάνης (6) και ασφαλίστε τες χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες(47), τις ροδέλες και τα παξιμάδια. 2. Σύρετε το στόμιο διοχέτευσης (5) πάνω από το κάτω μέρος της καμπίνας και στερεώστε το στη θέση του χρησιμοποιώντας τα μπουλόνια, τις ροδέλες και τα παξιμάδια που βρίσκονται τοποθετημένα στο στόμιο της χοάνης.

Πόδια Ευθυγραμμίστε τις τρύπες των ποδιών (1) και των οπών της καμπίνας σύμφωνα με την εικόνα Η και ασφαλίστε τα στη θέση τους χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες (47), τις ροδέλες και τα παξιμάδια. Επαναλάβετε την παραπάνω διαδικασία και για τα τέσσερα πόδια, σύροντας τα λαμάκια (34) μεταξύ των ποδιών και της καμπίνας πριν εισαγάγετε τα μπουλόνια και τα ασφαλίσετε στην θέση τους. Για την σύνδεση του πίσω ποδιού που βρίσκεται στην πλευρά της πόρτας της καμπίνας δεν χρειάζεται να τοποθετήσετε λαμάκι (34).

Σύνδεση της χοάνης, του σωλήνα και της καμπίνας 1. Τοποθετήστε την κάτω πλάκα (9) η οποία έχει αφρό σε κάθε πλευρά μαζί με το πλαίσιο του παραθύρου(10) στην κορυφή της χοάνης και στερεώστε στο κάτω μέρος της καμπίνας χρησιμοποιώντας τις ροδέλες, τα παξιμάδια και τα μπουλόνια (44). 2. Συνδέστε τον σωλήνα συλλογής άμμου (8) στην εμπρόσθια πλάκα της χοάνης και ασφαλίστε τα στην θέση τους χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες τα παξιμάδια και τις ροδέλες. Τοποθετήστε το παράθυρο(11) μέσα στην καμπίνα. 3. Συνδέστε το εξάρτημα εισαγωγής σωλήνα αέρα (45) στην κάτω δεξιά πλευρά της καμπίνας. -> Συνδέστε τη μία πλευρά του εύκαμπτου σωλήνα αέρα (52) στο πιστόλι και την άλλη πλευρά στο εξάρτημα εισαγωγής (45). Ασφαλίστε και τις δύο πλευρές με σφιγκτήρες σωλήνων αέρα (54). -> Συνδέστε τη μία πλευρά του σωλήνα αναρρόφησης (46) στο πιστόλι, και την άλλη στο σωλήνα συλλογής άμμου (8). Ασφαλίστε και τις δύο πλευρές με σφιγκτήρες σωλήνων κενού (53).

Κάτω ράφι και παράθυρο 1. Τοποθετήστε το κάτω ράφι (2) χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες (47), τις ροδέλες και τα παξιμάδια. 2. Τοποθετήστε την προστατευτική μεμβράνη παραθύρου (25), το γυαλί (27), το ακρυλικό γυαλί (26) και το πλαίσιο (28) πάνω από το άνοιγμα στην πάνω πλάκα της καμπίνας και ασφαλίστε τα στη θέση τους χρησιμοποιώντας τις βίδες (49) και τα παξιμάδια. Σημείωση: Αυτό το εργαλείο αέρα μπορεί να παραδοθεί με προστατευτική τάπα που καλύπτει την είσοδο αέρα. Αφαιρέστε αυτή την τάπα πριν από την αρχική ρύθμιση. Παροχή αέρα

Για την αποφυγή σοβαρού τραυματισμού λόγω έκρηξης Χρησιμοποιήστε μόνο καθαρό, ξηρό, ρυθμιζόμενο, πεπιεσμένο αέρα για να τροφοδοτήσετε το εργαλείο αυτό. Μη χρησιμοποιείτε οξυγόνο, διοξείδιο του άνθρακα, εύφλεκτα αέρια ή οποιοδήποτε άλλο εμφιαλωμένο αέριο ως πηγή ενέργειας για αυτό το εργαλείο.

1. Ενσωματώστε ένα φίλτρο, ρυθμιστή με μανόμετρο, ξηραντήρα, κλειστή βαλβίδα διακοπής και έναν ταχυσύνδεσμο για καλύτερα αποτελέσματα, όπως φαίνεται στο Σχήμα L και στο Σχήμα M. Αρχικές ρυθμίσεις

Προσοχή! Για την αποφυγή τραυματισμού λόγω ακούσιας εκκίνησης: Απενεργοποιήστε το εργαλείο, αποσυνδέστε την παροχή αέρα, εκτονώστε με ασφάλεια την τυχόν υπολειπόμενη πίεση αέρα στο εργαλείο και αφήστε τη σκανδάλη πριν εκτελέσετε οποιαδήποτε διαδικασία επιθεώρησης, συντήρησης ή καθαρισμού.

Για την αποφυγή σοβαρού τραυματισμού: Μη ρυθμίζετε ή κάνετε μετατροπές σε καμία συσκευή ελέγχου χειρισμού ή εξάρτημα με τρόπο που δεν εξηγείται ειδικά στο παρόν εγχειρίδιο. Η λανθασμένη ρύθμιση μπορεί να προκαλέσει βλάβη εργαλείου ή άλλους σοβαρούς κινδύνους. 1. Αφαιρέστε το κάλυμμα της θυρίδας απομάκρυνσης σκόνης (29) που βρίσκεται στην αριστερή πλευρά της καμπίνας και εγκαταστήστε ένα σύστημα συλλογής σκόνης (πωλείται ξεχωριστά) στο άνοιγμα της θυρίδας για να αφαιρέσετε τη σκόνη που δημιουργείται κατά την αμμοβολή. Εάν δεν χρησιμοποιείτε κάποιο σύστημα συλλογής σκόνης, βεβαιωθείτε ότι το κάλυμμα της θυρίδας βρίσκεται σωστά τοποθετημένο στη θέση του πάνω από το άνοιγμα της θυρίδας στην αριστερή πλευρά της καμπίνας. 2. Γεμίστε το κάτω μέρος της καμπίνας με 40 κιλά (μέγιστο) λεπτό λειαντικό υλικό. Γεμίστε την περιοχή χοάνης ώστε να είναι περίπου 1/2 γεμάτη. Για να αποφύγετε τη φραγή, μην γεμίζετε περισσότερο από το μέγιστο όριο. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε σκληρά λειαντικά μέσα, όπως είναι ο χάλυβας ή το οξείδιο του αργιλίου. Προσοχή! Μην χρησιμοποιείτε άμμο ή λειαντικά που περιέχουν κρυσταλλικό πυρίτιο. Η αμμοβολή με χρήση υλικού που περιέχει κρυσταλλικό πυρίτιο μπορεί να προκαλέσει σοβαρή ή θανατηφόρα αναπνευστική ασθένεια. Διαβάστε τις προειδοποιήσεις για τη σιλικόνη και το οξείδιο του αργιλίου.


Προσοχή! Μην στοχεύετε το ακροφύσιο στα δάχτυλά σας ή τα γάντια αμμοβολής. Εάν τα γάντια έχουν τρυπηθεί ή αισθάνεστε αέρα μέσα στο γάντι, αντικαταστήστε τα αμέσως. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε ένα γάντι που έχει υποστεί βλάβη ή έχει υποστεί διάτρηση.

Προσοχή! Για να αποφύγετε τους τραυματισμούς λόγω βλάβης του εργαλείου ή από κάποιου εξαρτήματος ακολουθήστε τις παρακάτω οδηγίες:

Τεμάχιο κατεργασίας και διαμόρφωση χώρου εργασίας 1. Επιλέξτε ένα χώρο εργασίας που είναι καθαρός και καλά φωτιζόμενος. 2. Περάστε τον εύκαμπτο σωλήνα αέρα κατά μήκος μιας ασφαλούς διαδρομής προς την περιοχή εργασίας με τέτοιον τρόπο ώστε να μην δημιουργεί κίνδυνο ανατροπής του χειριστή και να μην είναι εκτεθειμένος για την αποφυγή βλάβης. Ο εύκαμπτος σωλήνας αέρα πρέπει να είναι αρκετά μακρύς ώστε να φτάνει στην περιοχή εργασίας με αρκετό επιπλέον μήκος ώστε να επιτρέπει την ελευθερία κινήσεων κατά τη διάρκεια της εργασίας Γενικές οδηγίες λειτουργίας 1. Συνδέστε τον εύκαμπτο σωλήνα του συμπιεστή αέρα στην υποδοχή εισόδου σωλήνα (45). 2. Συνδέστε και ενεργοποιήστε το σύστημα φωτισμού της καμπίνας. 3. Ενεργοποιήστε το σύστημα συλλογής σκόνης (πωλείται ξεχωριστά). Σημείωση: Σε περίπτωση που χρησιμοποιείτε το σύστημα συλλογής σκόνης, καθαρίστε το φίλτρο περιοδικά για να διατηρήσετε επαρκή αναρρόφηση και αποτελεσματικότητα του κενού αέρος. 4. Ανοίξτε την πόρτα της καμπίνας και τοποθετήστε το τεμάχιο εργασίας στο κέντρο. 5. Κλείστε την πόρτα και ασφαλίστε την ασφάλεια. 6. Ρυθμίστε την πίεση αέρα του συμπιεστή μεταξύ 6 και 8 bar. 7. Τοποθετήστε τα χέρια σας στα ενσωματωμένα γάντια μέσα στην καμπίνα. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι τα δάχτυλά σας βρίσκονται στις κατάλληλες θέσεις και ότι μπορείτε εύκολα να μετακινήσετε τα χέρια σας και να χειριστείτε τα αντικείμενα που βρίσκονται μέσα στην καμπίνα. Κρατήστε το τεμάχιο κατεργασίας με το ένα χέρι, τοποθετώντας τα δάχτυλά σας έτσι ώστε το γάντι να μην παρεμποδίζει την περιοχή που θα κάνετε την αμμοβολή. Κατά την εργασία, αλλάξτε την λαβή σας έτσι ώστε, για να διασφαλίσετε ότι όλες οι περιοχές του αντικειμένου εργασίας θα έλθουν σε επαφή με το εκτοξευόμενο υλικό λείανσης. 8. Κρατήστε το πιστόλι αμμοβολής με το άλλο χέρι και σημαδέψτε με το ακροφύσιο προς το κάτω μέρος του θαλάμου. 9. Πιέστε τη σκανδάλη. 10. Εάν το εργαλείο απαιτεί περισσότερη δύναμη για να εκτελέσετε την εργασία, βεβαιωθείτε ότι το εργαλείο λαμβάνει επαρκή, ανεμπόδιστη ροή αέρα (CFM) και αυξήστε την έξοδο πίεσης (PSI) του ρυθμιστή μέχρι τη μέγιστη τιμή πίεσης αέρα αυτού του εργαλείου. Όταν τελειώσετε ή για να ελέγξετε την το αποτέλεσμα της αμμοβολής: α. Απελευθερώστε τη σκανδάλη, τοποθετήστε το κομμάτι κατεργασίας στη σχάρα της καμπίνας και βγάλτε τα χέρια σας από τα γάντια. β. Απενεργοποιήστε τον αεροσυμπιεστή και το σύστημα αναρρόφησης - συλλογής σκόνης (εάν υπάρχει). Περιμένετε να καθαρίσει ο αέρας στο εσωτερικό της καμπίνας. γ. Ανοίξτε την πόρτα της καμπίνας και αφαιρέστε το τεμάχιο κατεργασίας. Εάν το τεμάχιο κατεργασίας χρειάζεται περισσότερη αμμοβολή συνεχίστε από το βήμα 4 αυτών των οδηγιών λειτουργίας. 13. Για να αποφύγετε τα ατυχήματα, απελευθερώστε τη σκανδάλη, αποσυνδέστε την παροχή αέρα και στη συνέχεια πιέστε και αφήστε τη σκανδάλη για άλλη μια φορά για να εκτονώσετε με ασφάλεια την υπολειπόμενη πίεση αέρα στο εργαλείο. Αδειάστε την χοάνη από τα παράγωγα της διαδικασίας (ανατρέξτε στην ενότητα Οδηγίες συντήρησης). Καθαρίστε τις


εξωτερικές επιφάνειες του εργαλείου με ένα καθαρό, στεγνό πανί. Στη συνέχεια αποθηκεύστε το εργαλείο σε εσωτερικό χώρο μακριά από τα παιδιά. Οδηγίες συντήρησης Οι διαδικασίες που δεν εξηγούνται ειδικά στο παρόν εγχειρίδιο πρέπει να εκτελούνται μόνο από εξειδικευμένο τεχνικό. Do not use the tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating the tool increases the risk of injury to persons. 2. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair increases the risk of injury to persons as a result of being caught in moving parts. 3. Avoid unintentional starting. Be sure the trigger is released before connecting to the air supply. Do not connect the tool to the air supply with the switch on. 4. Remove adjusting keys and wrenches before turning the tool on. A wrench or a key that is left attached to a rotating part of the tool increases the risk of personal injury. 5. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper footing and balance enables better control of the tool in unexpected situations. 6. Use safety equipment. A dust mask, non-skid safety shoes and a hard hat must be used for the applicable conditions. 7. Always wear eye protection. Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles. 8. Always wear hearing protection when using the tool. Prolonged exposure to high intensity noise is able to cause hearing loss. Tool Use and Care 1. Use clamps or another practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the work by hand or against the body is unstable and is able to lead to loss of control. 2. Do not force the tool. Use the correct tool for the application. The correct tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which the tool is designed. 3. Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn the tool on or off. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired. 4. Disconnect the tool from the air source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool unintentionally. Turn off and detach the air supply, safely discharge any residual air pressure, and release the throttle and/or turn the switch to its off position before leaving the work area. 5. Store the tool when it is idle out of reach of children and other untrained persons. A tool is dangerous in the hands of untrained users. 6. Maintain the tool with care. 7. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that affects the tool's operation. If damaged, have the tool serviced before using. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools. There is a risk of bursting if the tool is damaged. 8. Use only accessories that are identified by the manufacturer for the specific tool model. Use of an accessory not intended for use with the specific tool model, increases the risk of injury to persons.


Service 1. Tool service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel. 2. When servicing a tool, use only identical replacement parts. Use only authorized parts. Air Source

1. Never connect to an air source that is capable of exceeding 200 psi. Over pressurizing the tool may cause bursting, abnormal operation, breakage of the tool or serious injury to persons. Use only clean, dry, regulated compressed air at the rated pressure or within the rated pressure range as

marked on the tool. Always verify prior to using the tool that the air source has been adjusted to the rated air pressure or within the rated air-pressure range. 2. Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide, combustible gases or any bottled gas as an air source for the tool. Such gases are

capable of explosion and serious injury to persons.

Specific Safety Instructions 1. The warnings and precautions discussed in this manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. Silicosis and Aluminum Oxide Warnings

WARNING! Abrasive blasting with sand containing crystalline silica can cause serious or fatal respiratory disease. Exposure to crystalline silica may cause silicosis (a serious lung disease), cancer and death. Exposure to aluminum oxide (a dust generated from material removing processes) can result in eye, skin and breathing irritation. Always

use approved respirator and safety goggles. Avoid skin exposure. Proper ventilation in the work area is required. Read and understand the 10 recommended measures below to reduce crystalline silica exposures in the workplace and prevent silicosis and silicosis related deaths. Recommend the following measures to reduce crystalline silica exposures in the workplace and prevent silicosis and silicosis-related deaths: 1. Prohibit silica sand (or other substances containing more than 1% crystalline silica) as an abrasive blasting material and substitute less hazardous materials. 2. Conduct air monitoring to measure worker exposures. 3. Use containment methods such as blast-cleaning machines and cabinets to control the hazard and protect adjacent workers from exposure. 4. Practice good personal hygiene to avoid unnecessary exposure to silica dust. 5. Wear washable or disposable protective clothes at the work site. Shower and change into clean clothes before leaving the work site to prevent contamination of cars, homes and other work areas. 6. Use respiratory protection when source controls cannot keep silica exposures low. 7. Provide periodic medical examinations for all workers who may be exposed to crystalline silica. 8. Post signs to warn workers about the hazard and to inform them about required protective equipment. 9. Provide workers with training that includes information about health effects, work practices and protective equipment for crystalline silica.


Vibration Precautions This tool vibrates during use. Repeated or long-term exposure to vibration may cause temporary or permanent physical injury, particularly to the hands, arms and shoulders. To reduce the risk of vibration-related injury: 1. Anyone using vibrating tools regularly or for an extended period should first be examined by a doctor and then have regular medical check-ups to ensure medical problems are not being caused or worsened from use. Pregnant women or people who have impaired blood circulation to the hand, past hand injuries, nervous system disorders, diabetes, or Raynaud's Disease should not use this tool. Light Clamps

Attach the Light Clamps (37) to the inside of the Cabinet Rear Plate (19) using the bolts which are pre-assembled on the Light clamps. Gloves • Secure the Glove Mounting Rings (33) and Glove Seal Rings (30) to the Cabinet Front Plate (17) using the Screws (48). • Slide the Gloves (41) over the Glove Mounting Rings and secure in place with the Glove Clamps (31).

Dust Port Attach the Dust Port (22) to the outside of the Left Cabinet Plate (18) using the Bolts and Nuts pre-assembled on the dust port.

Cabinet Note: All gaskets are pre-fitted on all needed plates. Use a punch or nail to make holes in the Foam Gasket for bolt installation. TOP TIP: Place the top plate on a table edge with the gaskets facing up. Note: Align the three middle holes along the Top Plate (16) first, then align the remaining holes when assembling. Leave all connections loose until all bolts are in place. Use the Flange Bolts (47), Flat Washers and Nuts to secure the sections in place. 1. Attach the Front Cabinet Plate (17), and the Back Cabinet Plate (19) to the top edges of the top plate (16) overlapping

the front and back flanges over the edges of the top plate (16). (See Detail 1 on page 10) 2. Place the Left Cabinet Plate (18) over the edges of the Front and Back Cabinet Plates and the Top Plate. 3. Place the Door Frame to the other side of the Front and Back Cabinet Plates and Top plate and secure with bolts (47),

nuts and flat washers. Align the holes of the Door Hinge and Door (24/13) along the back edge of the Cabinet Back Plate (19) and secure in place with bolts and nuts pre-assembled on door and hinge assembly.

4. After all panels are in place, tighten all connections.

Light and switch 1. Place the Light (39) in the Light Clamps (37) and secure with the pre-assembled bolts and nuts 2. Guide the wire of the Light through the hole of the Cabinet Left Plate (18). 3. Insert the end of the wire into the switch housing (21). Connect the light wires to the switch. -BLUE light wire to BLUE switch wire -BROWN light wire to BROWN switch wire 4. Install the Switch (21) and Switch Cover (20) on the Cabinet Left Plate (18) with the Bolts pre-assembled on the switch housing. Install the Door Lock (12) on the Cabinet Front Plate (17) with the bolts and nuts pre-assembled on the Door Lock.

Funnel 1. Place the Funnel Left and Right Plates (7) on the inside flanges of the Funnel Front and Rear Plates (6) and secure in place with the Bolts (47), Flat Washers and Nuts. 2. Slide the Funnel Mouth (5) over the bottom of the assembly and secure in place with the Bolts, Flat Washers and Nuts pre-assembled on the Funnel Mouth.

Legs Align the holes of the Legs (1) and Cabinet holes as shown, and secure in place with the Bolts (47), Flat Washers and Nuts. Repeat with all 4 Legs, sliding the Shims (34) between the Legs and Cabinet before inserting the Bolts and securing in place. The rear leg on the Door side of the cabinet does not require a shim (34)

Connecting the Funnel, Hose and Cabinet 1.Place the Bottom Plate (9) which has foam on each side together with Screen Frame (10) on top of the Funnel and secure the assembly to the bottom of the Cabinet with the Bolts (44) Flat Washers and Nuts. 2.Connect the Sand Pickup Tube (8) to the front funnel plate and secure with Bolts (47) Flat Washers and Nuts. Place Steel Screen (11) inside the cabinet. 3.Attach the Air Hose Inlet Fitting (45) to the lower right side of the cabinet. -->Connect one side of the Air Hose (52) to the blasting gun and the other side to the inlet fitting (45). Secure both sides with air hose clamps (54). -->Connect one side of the Vacuum Suction Hose

(46) to the blasting gun, connect the other end to the Sand Pickup Pipe (8). Secure both sides with Vacuum Hose Clamps (53).

Lower shelf and window 1. Install the Lower Shelf (2) with the Bolts (47), Flat Washers and Nuts. 2. Layer the Window Protective Film (25), Glass (27), Acrylic Glass (26) and Frame (28) over the opening on the Cabinet Top Plate and secure in place with the Bolts (49) and Nuts. Note: This air tool may be shipped with a protective plug covering the air inlet. Remove this plug before set up. Air supply

TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM EXPLOSION: Use only clean, dry, regulated, compressed air to power this tool. Do not use oxygen, carbon dioxide, combustible gases, or any other bottled gas as a power source for this tool. 1. Incorporate a filter, regulator with pressure gauge, dryer, in-line shutoff valve, and quick coupler for best service, as shown on Figure L and Figure M. An in-line shutoff ball valve is an important safety device because it controls the air supply even if the air hose is ruptured. The shutoff valve should be a ball valve because it can be closed quickly.

Note: An oiler system should not be used with this tool. The oil will mix with the material being propelled, causing tool to clog. 2. Attach an air hose to the compressor's air outlet. Connect the air hose to the air inlet of the tool. Other components, such as a coupler plug and quick coupler, will make operation more efficient, but are not required. WARNING! TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ACCIDENTAL OPERATION:

Do not install a female quick coupler on the tool. Such a coupler contains an air valve that will allow the air tool to retain pressure and operate accidentally after the air supply is disconnected.

Note: Air flow, and therefore tool performance, can be hindered by undersized air supply components. The air hose must be long enough to reach the work area with enough extra length to allow free movement while working. 3. Turn the tool's throttle or switch to the off position; refer to Operation section for description of controls. 4. Close the in-line shutoff valve between the compressor and the tool. 5. Turn on the air compressor according to the manufacturer's directions and allow it to build up pressure until it cycles off. 6. Adjust the air compressor's output regulator so that the air output is enough to properly power the tool, but the output will not exceed the tool's maximum air pressure at any time. Adjust the pressure gradually, while checking the air output gauge to set the right pressure range. 7. Inspect the air connections for leaks. Repair any leaks found. 8. If the tool will not be used at this time, turn off and detach the air supply, safely discharge any residual air pressure, and release the throttle and/or turn the switch to its off position to prevent accidental operation. Note: Residual air pressure should not be present after the tool is disconnected from the air supply. However, it is a good safety measure to attempt to discharge the tool in a safe fashion after disconnecting to ensure that the tool is disconnected and not powered. Inspect tool before use, looking for damaged, loose, and missing parts. If any problems are found, do not use tool until repaired. Tool Set Up

WARNING

TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ACCIDENTAL OPERATION: Turn off the tool, detach the air supply, safely discharge any residual air pressure in the tool, and release the trigger before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures. TO SERIOUS INJURY: Do not adjust or tamper with any control or component in a way not specifically explained within this manual. Improper adjustment can result in tool failure or other serious hazards. 1. Remove the cover on the left side of the Cabinet and install a dust collection system (sold separately) to the Flange opening to remove media dust while blasting. If not using a dust collection system, check that the cover is in place over the opening on the left side of the Cabinet. 2. Fill the Hopper about 1/2 full with fine abrasive material. To prevent clogging, do not overfill.

WARNING! Do not use sand or abrasives that contain crystalline silica. Abrasive blasting with sand containing crystalline silica can cause serious or fatal respiratory disease.

Workpiece and Work Area Set Up 1. Designate a work area that is clean and well-lit. The work area must not allow access by children or pets to prevent distraction and injury. 2. Route the air hose along a safe route to reach the work area without creating a tripping hazard or exposing the air hose to possible damage. The air hose must be long enough to reach the work area with enough extra length to allow free movement while working.


General Operating Instructions 1. Connect the air compressor hose to the Hose Inlet Fitting. 2. Turn on the vacuum of the dust collection system (if equipped, sold separately). Note: When using a vacuum dust collector, clean the filter periodically to maintain adequate suction and effectiveness of the vacuum. 3. Open the Door of the Blast Cabinet and place the workpiece in the center of the Cabinet. 4. Close the door and secure the Door Latches. 5. Set the compressor′s air pressure between 90 and 100 PSI. 6. Place your hands into the Gloves inside the Cabinet. Make sure your fingers are in the proper positions and that you can easily move your hands and grip objects. 7. Hold the workpiece in one hand, positioning your fingers so that the glove is not in the way of the area you will be blasting. While working, reposition your grip as needed to ensure that all areas of the workpiece will be contacted with the blast material. 8. Grip the Blasting Gun with the other hand and point the nozzle at the bottom of the Cabinet. 9. Squeeze the trigger. 10. Check that the abrasive media is flowing through the suction hose with no leaks. Release the trigger and correct any leaks if needed. Otherwise begin blasting the workpiece.

WARNING! Do not aim the nozzle at your fingers or the Blast Gloves. If Gloves are punctured or you feel air blowing in the Glove, replace them immediately. Do not use a damaged or punctured Glove.

11. If the tool requires more force to accomplish the task, verify that the tool receives sufficient, unobstructed airflow (CFM) and increase the pressure (PSI) output of the regulator up to the maximum air pressure rating of this tool. CAUTION! TO PREVENT INJURY FROM TOOL OR ACCESSORY FAILURE: Do not exceed the tool's maximum air pressure rating. If the tool still does not have sufficient force at maximum pressure and sufficient airflow, then a larger tool may be required. 12. When finished, or to check the progress of your blasting: a. Release the trigger, lay the workpiece on the Grate of the Cabinet and remove your hands from the gloves. b. Turn off the compressor and dust collection system (if equipped). Wait for the air inside the Cabinet to clear. c. Open the Cabinet door and remove the workpiece. If the workpiece needs more blasting, resume from step 4 of these operating instructions. 13. To prevent accidents, release the trigger, detach the air supply, then squeeze and release the trigger once more to safely discharge any residual air pressure in the tool. Empty the Hopper of blast media (see User-Maintenance Instructions section on page 12). Clean external surfaces of the tool with a clean, dry cloth. Then store the tool indoors out of children's reach. User- Maintenance Instructions Procedures not specifically explained in this manual must be performed only by a qualified technician. ACCIDENTAL OPERATION: Turn off the tool, detach the air supply, safely discharge any residual air pressure in the tool, and release the trigger before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures. Daily - Air Supply Maintenance: Every day, maintain the air supply according to the component manufacturers' instructions. Drain the moisture filter regularly. Performing routine air supply maintenance will allow the tool to operate more safely and will also reduce wear on the tool. 2. After use, empty the Hopper of blast media:

CAUTION! Wear ANSI-approved Safety Goggles and NIOSH-approved dust mask/respirator when emptying the abrasive media.

a. Place a container (sold separately), which is large enough to hold all the blast media, under the mouth of the Hopper. b. Turn the Hopper Hook on the Hopper Square to open the Hopper and allow all the abrasive media to flow into the container. c. Close the Hopper Square.
