Now that you have decided what job you are going to have, what car you are going to drive, and where you are going to live, there’s just one more thing to do… use your digital storytelling skills to develop a video that will show you living your future life. I am going to give you very little instruction for this as I want the project to represent your creativity and help you decide on your long term life goals. You score will be determined by the rubric provided. Please also use the rubric as a template for your Digital Story. Follow the following link: http://courseweb.lis.illinois.edu/~jevogel2/lis506/howto.html which will give you an idea of how best to create your Digital Story. Keep in mind that ALL CONTENT MUST BE SCHOOL APPROPRIATE! Follow the School Handbook and Acceptable Use Policy for a complete list of inappropriate behaviors. Basically keep it G-Rated. The following is an incomplete list of inappropriate behaviors: Obscene gestures Pornographic material Nudity Sexual References Alcohol/Drug References Explicit Language Graphic Violence Guns or Gunplay If I see any of these in your Digital Story, you will get a 0 for a grade and be subject to the appropriate disciplinary action. This Digital Story should be a representation of your future life as you envision it. You should include the information from the Webquests you completed as a part of your Portfolio. A good starting title for your Digital Story would be “A Day in the Future Life of ….” As always, if you have any questions, I will be available during ACS, or before or after school. I am looking forward to seeing your projects! GOOD LUCK!
