Martaş was established in 1972 as a co-operative to process the abundance of high quality aqricultural food products grown in the Marmara region, known as Turkey’s most fertile agri-cultural region.
Martaş, is the leading proccessor with its two processing plants, located one in Bursa and another in Kemalpaşa giving a combined, 40.000 tons of fruits and vegatables with 30.000 tons of cold storage facilit ies.

Martaş owns a substantial acreage of
fertile farming lands in the YENİŞEHİR
and KEMALPAŞA regions, Fifty per-
cent of raw materials are grown and
harvested on these plantations; the
balance of raw materials contracted
with local farmers and harvested by
our own harvesters under the strict
controls and supervision of Martaş’s
own team of agronomists.

Martaş agricultural team closely monitors
the growth progress in the fields, carries
out regular controls on the raw materials
and supervises the use of fertil izers and
pesticides when necessary.
