I have had it reported to me that there are a number of parents who are coming in to the car park at these times. I do understand that parking in the streets is difficult but you ARE NOT TO ENTER THE STAFF CAR PARK at drop off and pick up times. Parking in the staff car park at drop off and pick up times is dangerous to you and to your children. When you park in the car park, you have to walk through the car park to enter the school and this is not safe! In the morning and the afternoon we have a lot of vehicle movement and walking through the car park with children is not a safe thing to do. We know the safety of your children is paramount to you so DO NOT PARK IN THE STAFF CAR PARK during drop off and pick up times! If you do need to collect your child from the school during school due to illness or injury during school time, you are most welcome to use the staff car park BUT this is the only time you may enter the staff car park. Also could students please obey instructions from the School Crossing people. A number of students have disobeyed them and crossed the crossing before given permission to cross. Please wait for the whistle to be blown before you cross. NAPLAN Results Today the Year 3 and 5 students would have brought home their NAPLAN results. The children sat these tests in May. They provide a snapshot of what you child could do on that day. The teachers will use this data, in conjunction with other data they have collected, to assist in differentiating the learning for your child. Overall the school has achieved well in NAPLAN. If you have any queries you wish to discuss, please do not hesitate to see your child’s classroom teacher in the first instance or myself or Alanna Hawthorne-Smith. Sporting Opportunities This term our students have had a number of sporting opportunities – football clinics, netball tournaments, basketball tournaments and football gala days. Parents are invited to come and play maths games with their children.

3/4 SCIENCEWORKS EXCURSION - MONDAY 24TH AUGUST
Excursion for the 3/4’S to Science works, all children will be required to bring play
lunch, lunch, fruit and a plastic bottle of water, please place these all in a plastic
bag labelled with their name clearly. School Uniform and comfortable shoes
must be worn.
It promises to be an action packed day!!
Date: Monday 24th August
Time: 8:45am and returning back to school by 2:45pm

الموظفين في المدرسة عند إيصال األوالد إلى المدرسة صباحا وعند إصطحابهم من المدرسة بعد
الظهر . لقد وصلني أن هناك عددا من اآلباء واألمهات الذين يأتون إلى موقف للسيارات في هذه
األوقات .أنا أتفهم أن إيجاد موقوف للسيارات في الشوارع أمر صعب ولكن يمنع دخولكم الى موقف
الموظفين في هذه األوقات.
إيقاف السيارات في موقف الموظفين خطير لك وألوالدك حيث عليك المشي عبر الموقف وهذا ليس آمنا
،خاصة في الصباح وبعد الظهر حيث حركة السيارات والمشي كثيفة.
نحن نعرف أن سالمة أطفالكم أهمية قصوى لديكم لذلك نرجو منكم عدم التوقيف في موقف الموظفين.
إذا كنتم بحاجة ألخذ أو اصطحاب أوالدكم من المدرسة خالل فترة الدراسة ، فمرحب بكم استخدام
موقف سيارات الموظفين اخذين بعين اإلعتبار أن هذه هي المرة الوحيدة التي يمكنكم دخول
واستعمال الموقف.
نتائج النابالن " برنامج التقييم الوطني للقراءة والحساب"
قد عاد طالب الصفين الثالث والخامس بنتائج امتحانات النابالن التي جرت في مايو. هذ النتائج
إنما توفر لقطة عن قدرات الطالب في ذلك اليوم . سوف يستخدم المعلمون هذه البيانات ، جنبا
إلى جنب مع غيرها من البيانات التي تم جمعها، للمساعدة في تمييز قدرات الطالب. عموما لقد
حققت المدرسة نتائج جيدة في امتحانات النابالن.
إذا كان لديك أية استفسارات كنت ترغب في مناقشتها، من فضلك ال تتردد في رؤية معلم الصف أو
أنا شخصيا أو آالنا هوثورن سميث.
فرص رياضية
خالل هذا الفصل الدراسي كان لطالبنا عددا من الفرص الرياضية: عيادات كرة القدم ، بطوالت كرة
الشبكة ، بطوالت كرة السلة ومهرجان كرة القدم.

Môt ngay gân đây, chung tôi se bắt đâu lên kê hoach cho năm hoc 2016. Môt phân cua tiên trinh nay la sắp xêp lớp
cho năm hoc kê tiêp. Cac thây cô xem xét nhiêu yêu tô khi sắp xêp cac lớp như – trinh đô hoc vân, hanh kiêm, giới
tính va nhom ban thân cua cac em.
Nêu quý vi co nhưng thông tin hay đê nghi giup cho viêc sắp xêp lớp cho con em quý vi vao lớp tôt nhât, xin vui long
viêt thư gơi đên tôi. Xin quý vi đưng yêu câu cụ thê môt giao viên nao nhưng tôi se xem xét ky va chon quyêt đinh
tôt nhât. Tât ca cac la thư cua quý vi se đươc giư kín.
