Section 1: DOORS

Standard Features - All Loxcreen Doors

Glass: Tempered safety glass (Acrylic available upon request.)

Packaging: Cardboard boot at top and bottom (hardware packed in top boot).

Full poly bag to protect painted finish.

Finish: Our painted finish is electrostatically applied and baked for durability.

Construction:

1. Z-bar is pre-hung and pre-drilled for easy installation. Extra screw

holes at hinge allow attachment to door jamb, reducing stress on z-bar. Z-BAR

DESIGN ELIMINATES NEED FOR A STRIKE.

2. Heavy-duty corner keys add strength to door.

3. All Loxcreen storm and screen doors have woolpile weatherstrip around the z-bar

perimeter to reduce air infiltration and noise.

4. Adjustable bottom expander, with vinyl weatherstrip, allows sizing adjustment up to 1 inch

from door bottom.

CAUTION: Insect screens are intended only to provide reasonable insect control. They are not

intended as a restraint for people or objects.

Products of galvanized or coated steel have no warranty against rusting, corrosion or reactions against

dissimilar metals or treated wood.

Storm doors are not entirely waterproof.

Aluminum should not be used in direct contact with treated wood. Spacer materials or other physical barriers are

recommended to prevent direct contact of treated wood and aluminum.

Glass used in Fullview Doors - size 3/0x7/0 - is susceptible to breakage and will not be replaced under our standard warranty.

NOTE: Kit is designed to fit maximum width opening sizes of 60", 64" and 72". Opening sizes other than

Storm Window Features:

* Butt corner construction with rain cap - no miter gap - no water buildup.

* Triple interlock system - locks out bugs and drafts (except IW100).

* 1/4" swivel keys eliminate the need for lubrication.

* Reusable glazing bead for simplified reglazing of inserts.

* Intermediate vent stops.

* Flanges on header, jambs and sill are scored for easy trimming if necessary (except IW100).

* Predrilled for easy installation. Screws and installation instructions included (screws not

How to Measure:

WIDTH: Measure windows from point of arrow shown in

illustration to same point on other side.

HEIGHT: Measure windows from inside top (next to side)

to inside bottom (next to side). Check measurements

on other side to verify. Choose smaller dimension

to nearest stock size.

How to Install:

1. Apply foam tape to inside edge of jambs (top and sides only) or use caulk.

2. Set window in center of opening.

3. Square the window, check by operating panels.

4. Screw it down.

5. Caulk bottom of storm window, but not drainage slots.

How to Order:

1. State model number and color.

2. State width only on the full inch, 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4".

(manufactured width will be 1/8" less, e.g. 32 1/4" will finish 32 1/8")

3. State height only on the full inch, 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4".

(manufactured height will be 1/8" less, e.g. 51 1/2" will finish 51 3/8")

GENERAL INFORMATION

Picture Window: Available with one frame, one glass insert up to size limit of 72" width and 75" height.

Cottage Window: Available as a custom-made window. Not available in IW100.
