WORKING WITH YOUTH
Recently a group of DDAs spent their weekend debating students from Frick Middle School in east Oakland. The debates were to provide the 8th Grade Debate Team with valuable preparation before they competed at the State Championships.
The team has never made it to State finals before and are the only predominantly African-American team competing, so this opportunity to debate seasoned professionals was well received.

WE ARE ALAMEDA COUNTY
The employees of the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office are part of the fabric of our community and are committed to justice.
We are leaders in criminal justice reform in Alameda County and our State, advancing initiatives that improve outcomes for those in our community.
In Sacramento, legislative leaders recognize the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office as the model for progressive criminal justice and reform. Today, we demonstrated that we closed the funding gap. We have also sourced grants to support our many successful initiatives.
